Episode five

860 Words
Dante emerged from the club, his eyes scanning the crowded sidewalk until they landed on Elena walking towards the main road. He slipped into the Ferrari and pulled up alongside her. "Get in," Dante commanded in a low, husky voice. Elena ignored him, continuing to walk. Dante's eyes narrowed. "Get in, I don't have all day," he repeated impatiently. Elena stopped and faced the road, and for a moment, Dante thought she was finally going to obey. But instead, she crossed to the other side, leaving Dante filled with frustration. Just as Elena reached the opposite sidewalk, a black jeep screeched to a halt beside her. Two men in black suits leapt out, their eyes fixed on Elena. She remained oblivious, walking calmly until the men blocked her path. "Who are you? What do you want from me?" Elena demanded, her skin prickling with goosebumps. One of the men clamped a handkerchief over her mouth, and together, they dragged her towards the jeep. Elena struggled, but her strength was no match for theirs. Dante sprang into action, racing towards the scene. But before he could reach Elena, the jeep sped away. Dante ran back to the Ferrari, driving out of the parking lot in speed. As he gained on the jeep, Dante caught glimpses of Elena struggling in the back seat. His anger boiled over. "Come on! Get out of the way!" he yelled, honking at a slow-moving taxi driver. "Dante, what's wrong?" Leo asked, his voice laced with concern, as he picked up the call. "It's Don's daughter," Dante replied, his tone grim. "She's been kidnapped." There was a pause on the other end of the line before Leo spoke up. "Where are you? What do you need?" Dante's eyes remained fixed on the jeep ahead. "I'm in pursuit. I need backup. Send the team." "I'll track your location. But what about the boss? Shouldn't we inform him?" Leo asked, a hint of uncertainty creeping into his voice. "Not yet," Dante said firmly. "I don't want to worry him unecessarily. Besides, I've got this under control." There was a pause before Leo spoke up again. "You'll get her back, won't you?" Dante's response was direct and confident. "I will." The line went dead as Dante ended the call, his focus solely on the road ahead. Dante's Ferrari screeched around the corner, the tires smoking as he expertly maneuvered the vehicle. He had anticipated the jeep's route, knowing the streets of the city like the back of his hand. With a swift turn, he took a narrow alleyway, the Ferrari's engine roaring as he sped up. As he emerged from the alleyway, Dante spotted the jeep ahead, the kidnappers oblivious to the danger lurking behind. With precision, Dante steered the Ferrari to block the jeep's path, positioning himself at an angle that prevented the jeep from escaping. The three men inside the jeep, their faces filled with anger, got out of the vehicle simultaneously, knives glinting in the dim light. They charged towards Dante holding their knives tightly. Dante, anticipating their attack, stepped out of the Ferrari, his eyes locked on the men. With a swift motion, he tamed the first attacker, a huge man with a cruel grin, with a quick jab to the chest. The man crumpled to the ground, gasping for air. The second attacker, a lean figure with a scar above his left eyebrow, ran towards Dante with a knife. Dante sidestepped the attack, using this movement to send the man stumbling back. With a swift kick, Dante sent the man crashing to the pavement. The third attacker, a tall figure with a gun, hesitated for a moment before raising the weapon. Dante didn't flinch. With the speed of light, he disarmed the man, using his momentum against him. The gun clattered to the ground as Dante delivered a crushing blow, sending the man crashing to the pavement. As the fight concluded, Dante swiftly moved to the jeep, his eyes scanning the area for prospective danger. Elena, her hands and legs tied, her mouth sealed with tape, stared at him with wide, terrified eyes. Dante's expression softened as he quickly worked to free her, gently removing the tape from her mouth and loosening her bonds. As Elena's hands and legs were freed, she flung herself into Dante's arms, tears streaming down her face. Dante held her close, his arms wrapped tightly around her. "You're safe now," he whispered, his voice low and soothing. "I've got you." Elena buried her face in his chest, her arms wrapping tightly around him. "I was so scared," she whispered, her voice almost inaudible. Dante's arms tightened around her. "You're safe now," he repeated. "I won't let anything happen to you." As he carried Elena back to the Ferrari, Dante's eyes scanned the surrounding area, ensuring they were safe. With Elena secure in his arms, he slid into the driver's seat, pulling away from the scene. "Let's get you home," he whispered, his voice gentle. Elena nodded, her grip on him tightening. "Don't let me go, please" she replied Dante's arms wrapped around her, holding her close. "I won't," he promised.
