Chapter 13

 {Jakes P.O.V}

    After dinner was over we all went into the recreation room. It was family game night. My favorite night. We sat around the round table that was in the middle of the room. It was my night to pick the game. I picked Monopoly . I am a beast at this game. We all picked our pawns and I handed out the money. The first couple of times around the board were easy . After that it seemed that I had control over half the board. I could tell Bella was getting angry because she kept landing on everyone and having to go to jail. She was down to her last hundred dollars. She rolled and landed on my lot. "Dang it Jake." she said handing me the last of her money. "Looks like I am out." she said slipping down her chair. "Well I am going to go to my office to catch up on some paperwork for the business. Let me know when the next round starts." she said before kissing Matt on the head and leaving. 

    Some time later it was just me and Matt left. I had half the board and he had the other. It was my turn. I rolled and landed on Matt's property that was filled with houses. "Shit." I said. I looked up at Matt who was smiling ear to ear. I counted out how much owed him and handed it over. I was down to my last three bills. I just needed to get past his last two properties and then I was in the clear. Matt rolled a two and landed on the past go. I gave him his money from the bank and then rolled  myself. I got a seven. One.. Two.. Three... Four.... Five... Six... "s**t I LOST!" I said a little louder then I wanted too. My parents turned there heads towards me. "You lost?" my mom said confused. I just nodded my head in defeat. Matt got up and stretched, reaching his hand across the table. "Good game man." he said. I took his hand and shook it. "Good game. 

     I looked down at my watch and realized it was late. "Well its late and I have training in the morning. I am going to clean up and head to bed." I said. Matt helped me clean everything up and take the dishes to the sink. "Hey Matt, can I ask you something." I said while placing the dishes in the dishwasher. "Yea whats up." he said back. "Do you love her, Bella that is?" I asked looking at him. "Yea I do. I do not want anything bad to ever happen to her. I will lay my life down for her in a heart beat. Why do you ask." he said looking at me. "I just want to make sure that she will never get hurt. She is like my little sister, the one I was never given. We grew up together and her life was not an easy one. I just wanted to make sure that she is always at the top of her mates list. It is nothing agents you. I just have the big brother protection over her. " I said with a smile on my face. "I understand I would and never will do anything in my power to hurt her. I promise. Your dad already threatened me." he said with a chuckle. I nodded my head and we walked back to the recreation room. My mom was sweeping the floor. "You two get to bed it is going to be a busy day tomorrow. I got the rest of this." she said smiling at Matt and I. We both said our good nights and made our way to our rooms. 

{Bella's P.O.V.}

    I landed on Jake and handed him over the last of my money. "Looks like I am out." I said slipping down into my chair. "Well I am going to go to my office to catch up on some paperwork for the business. Let me know when the next round starts." I said before kissing Matt on the head and leaving. I made my way to my office shutting the door behind me. I started a fire, and then sat down on my chair. I started up my computer and placed the picture in its spot on the shelf. I opened up my emails and started to look at the application that Jennifer had sent over to me a few days ago. I only liked one of them. He was in his mid twenties. With prior work history in the factory setting. I looked over all his paperwork making sure nothing was missed. I am glad that I stayed behind and ordered more supplies. We just got a huge order for product, and we would need everything that I ordered. 

    I sent Jennifer all the rest of the paperwork for the new hires first day, and told her when he could start. I was happy with my choose and continued to read and reply back to all the emails I had gotten in the last few days. Most of them are spam and or pack member's sending me ideas for this years summer party. I could not wait to figure all that out soon. I knew that Auntie May would help me plan it, like she always does. It was getting late and when I looked over at the clock it was already midnight. I picked up my laptop and made my way to my room. I figured the boys maybe talking and I did not want to disturb them bonding. I went to my closet to rearrange everything so all the same styles where together. I then placed them in the correct color order. I am picky when it comes to the way things are put away. I seen that Matt's suitcases where sitting by the door. I decided to unpack for him and put everything away for him. We would have to go shopping for him when we had the chance. He owns a ton of dark colors. 

    After I was done in the closet I took a quick shower, put on my Pajamas and brushed my teeth. I crawled into bed and opened my laptop again. I pulled up office designs. It was time to add a little of me into my dad's old office. I loved the desk and the book shelf's so they would stay. I picked out new couches, and end tables. I figured I would go with a lighter color, so for the couches I picked white and the end tables would be a white marble top with gold legs. I picked out a blue grey color for the walls and some new frames to go with the old ones. I would have to start adding more pictures to the ones that already had a home. I was with Matt now and I want to capture our life together. I placed an order for all the new items and sat on my bed for a moment.

    The next thing I knew I was looking into baby items. Not that I was in any hurry at all to have any kids of my own but my mind for some reason kept going back to it. I looked at cribs and high chairs, baby clothing and blankets. I was soon cooing at how cute everything was. I settled myself more into my bed and my eyes started to become heavier. I pulled the blankets up and placed my laptop on the side table. I started to drift off to sleep. I heard a yell from down stairs followed by laughter. I could not figure out what it was all about. Darkness surrounded me and I was out for the count. 

{Matt's P.O.V.} 

    It was late when we all were heading to bed. I said goodnight to everyone and made my way to Bella's office. I opened the door and everything was off. I closed the door, and walked to our room. I opened the door to see a past out Bella. I quickly jumped into the shower and brushed my teeth. I walked to the closet to get my suitcases when I noticed all of my items had been hung up neatly and separated by color and kind. This made me laugh. "Oh Bella." I said softly. I grabbed some pajama bottoms, quickly putting them on and crawled into bed. I kissed Bella's head. I seen her laptop open on her side table. Her opened web browser made my eyebrows raise. Baby stuff? Is Bella thinking about babies? I seen that she had a few things in her cart. I grabbed it off the table and looked. In the cart was a handmade crib, White in color. It was simple and cute. The highchair was made of dark wood with designs all in it. She had also placed some neutral colored blankets, and onsies. There was one dress and what looked like a little suit. The dress was white with a red rose headband, and the suit was black with a blue bow tie. The last thing in the cart was a stuffed wolf. It was simple. I looked at my sleeping mate and smiled. 

    After some time of thinking I pulled out my phone and ordered everything in the cart, and had it shipped to my pack house.  Not that I knew we would be staying there in the end. I know her and I have to talk about what we are going to do when the time comes. We are both Alpha, and we can not run both packs, but if she wanted I would hand down my title to my little brother and continue to stay here. It is a lot to think about. I know this will be one of the hardest decisions we would have to make as mates. I just wanted to be able to surprise her with the items she wanted when the time was right. I know I want kids but I do not want them until she does. I placed her computer back where I found it and plugged in my phone. I moved over so that I was touching her. As soon as I was about to put my arm around her she rolled over. Placing her head on my chest. I could feel her breathing lighten and her body relax. "I love you Bella, you are my home." I whispered softly placing a kiss on her head. I made sure that both of us were fully covered by the blanket. I relaxed into her sent and drifted off to sleep.
