Chapter 12

{Bella's P.O.V.}

    Matt and I walked to my office hand in hand. I mind linked everyone to let them know to meet me in my office in five minutes. I opened the door to my office and we walked in. I looked around the room remembering my dad. Matt let go of my hand and walked around the room. I went behind my desk sitting down in my chair. I put my hair up in a high ponytail and opened my laptop. I seen Matt grab a picture off the shelf and walk over to me. He had a huge smile on his face. "I hope one day we have gorgeous children like you." he said smiling at me. He handed me the photo frame. It was the picture of my parents and I on the beach. It was the last summer vacation we took. I was in a little one piece bathing suit, in my dads arms kissing his check. My mom was standing behind my dad hugging him. The sun was starting to set it and my mom wanted a picture. She always wanted pictures. It was a wonderful weekend away with my parents. "I hope so too one day." I said back to him.   

    We heard a knock on the door, and both of our heads looked up at it. Everyone was here. "Please take a seat we have something very important to tell you." I said. Everyone was looking at me with worry. "So I have gathered us all here in order to tell you all that I have found my Mate." I started. " Matt here the Alpha from Blue Lake pack and I found out last night that we are mates." I looked up at Matt who was smiling down at me. He placed his hand on top of mine and locked our figures together. Auntie May looked at me with a smile on her face, reaching over to Uncle Ronnie. "Our Bella found her mate!" she said, "and I see that they have already marked each other." My face went red with blush. "Yes we have already marked each other." I said shyly. The room fell silent for awhile. 

    "We would like all of your blessings." Matt said to everyone. The room went silent for a moment longer. Uncle Ronnie got up from the couch and walked over to Matt. For a moment I thought that he might tackle him to the ground but instead he wrapped his arms around him , embracing him in a hug.  "You better take care of my little girl. I will not hesitate to find you and rip you apart if you hurt her." he tried to say softly, but I heard him and giggled. Matt looked at me with pleading eyes that seemed to be asking for my help. I just rolled my eyes at him. The next thing I knew Uncle Ronnie pulled himself away from Matt. "I give you my blessing." He said. "I do as well." said Auntie may getting up and giving both Matt and I a hug. Next was Joe and John. They high fived Matt and hugged me. Jake was the only one left at this moment. He had not said a word this whole time. "Hey guys can I have a moment alone with Jake." I asked. Everyone nodded and walked out. Before Matt left he placed a small kiss on my head and said "I will go to my room and get my things. I will meet you back at your room shortly." I nodded my head and he left. 

     I got up from my seat and sat closer to Jake. "What are you thinking?" I asked him. "Why did you not tell me last night Bella." he asked with hurt in his eyes. "I am going to be honest with you. At first I was not sure if he was my mate and second I did not know if I was going to accept him. Mavie told me when we were both outside. It all happened so fast and I was not sure if the pack would accept him, or if anyone would for that matter. I tested him and asked him not to say anything to anyone. He kept his promise." I said looking at him with worry. "Has he hurt you in anyway?" He asked. I nodded no. "Do you love him?" he asked. "I do Jake, I really do." I said back. "You and I both know that the mate bond is something special. One day I hope that I find mine. I give you my blessing until he gives me a reason not to." he said with a smile on his face. I jumped up and hugged him tightly. "Thank you Jake!" I said and I could feel him hug me tighter. 

    We sat and chatted for a moment. I heard his stomach yell for food. Which made me giggle. "So whats next. How are you two going to run the packs." he asked with wonder in his eyes. Reality hit me, I did not even think about this. "I do not know honestly. We have not talked about that yet. I am sure we will have some time to figure all that out." I said. "Yea you will. This storm is suppose to last almost five days."  he said back with a smile. "Ok well that is a problem for another time. Lets go eat dinner before it gets cold." I said to him while getting up and walking towards the door. "I will be down in a moment." I said. Jake nodded and walked down the stairs. 

    I opened the door to my room and found Matt laying on the bed on his phone. He seen me enter the room."Are you ok?" he asked. "Yea I am fine. Jake just wanted to know why I did not tell him last night, and to give us his blessing. That is all." I said with a smile.  "Oh ok. Well are you ready to go get dinner?" he asked. "Yea, did you put your things away?" I asked motioning to the closet. "No not yet. I did not want to go into your space to make room for my things." he said honestly. I chuckled at him. I walked over to my closet and moved everything from one side to the other. Making sure I gave him enough room for all his things. Matt was standing in the doorway, leaning on it with his arms crossed. "What?" I asked. "You look so cute when you are flustered." he said while walking over to me. "Stop it!." I said. "Alright ,alright. Lets go get some food so that later I can make you rearrange your closet again." he said chuckling. I nodded and looked back at my closet in dismay. 

    He already knows us! 

    Yes he does. 

    He is going to be a great Mate. 

    Yes he is. 

    Soon we will have little ones of him filling the halls with footsteps.

    Mavie stop it!

    Oh you know you want that man on top of you every minute of the day. 

    Mavie!!

    I heard her laugh and put up her block. Oh that wolf of mine. I felt Matt squeeze my hand. "You ok love? Your face is beat red. Did your wolf put naughty things into your head." he asked with a grin. I could feel my cheeks getting even more red. "Uhh maybe." I said shyly. He chuckled his handsome chuckle. Oh, Moon Goddess how I love this man. He took my hand and led me downstairs. Everyone was already seated and at the head of the table their were two chairs empty. Matt and I went and took our seats. Everyone started to serve themselves, passing the food around so everyone could get some. I looked at my family with a smile on my face. I was happy for once, truly happy. I had people around me that loved me and a mate that actually wanted me. I could not have asked for a better start to my adult life.
