The Orphaned Alaph

Chapter 11

{Matt's P.O.V.}

    I slowly opened my eyes to see that Bella has stolen all of the covers and was wrapped up in it like a burrito. At the thought of food I felt my stomach rumble. I looked over at my phone and seen that it was two in the afternoon! "s**t I am sure Joe and John are wondering where I am." I tried to mind link them. "Joe? John?" I asked. "Yea Matt." They both asked at the same time. "Where are you?" I asked. Joe answered, "We are helping bring in the supplies. Everything ok?" "Yea everything is fine was just checking in." I said . I looked over at Bella and she was still passed out. I figured now would be a good time to get some food up here for the both of us. "Hey Joe, Can you bring up some food for myself and someone else?" I asked. "Sure, only if you tell me who the someone else is." He said. I could hear the amusement in his voice. "You can not tell a soul or I will beat you personally." I said in my Alpha tone. "Yea, yea I promise. who is she?" he asked. "It is my mate, Bella." I finally said after a few seconds. It felt like forever until he replied. " As in Alpha Bella of the Midnight Moon Pack?" He asked with surprise in his voice. "Yes you are correct. Now hurry up. No more questions, we will be having a meeting later to let everyone know what has happened." I said to him. Closing off the mind link. 

     I seen that the fire was starting to die down, so I deiced to place some more wood onto the fire. I went to go get out of bed but was meet with a small hand touching my arm. "Where are you going." Bella asked softly. I turned myself to look at her. I smiled, "I am just going to go put some more wood on the fire dear." I said leaning over to give her a kiss on her lips. "Oh ok, hurry back!" she said. I got up and placed some more wood onto the fire. At that moment I heard a knock at the door, and I could feel Bella sit straight up on the bed. I laughed at her and went to the door. It was Joe with the food. "Here you go Alpha." he said with a wink. He handed me the tray and walked away. I closed the door, and walked over to Bella placing the tray on the bed. "Uhh did you tell Joe?" She said with worry in her voice. "I did but he knows if he tells a soul that he will get it. No need to worry dear." I said back while placing a fork at her mouth with a piece of fruit on it. "Well if you trust him then so do I" She said opening her mouth taking the fruit.  

    After a quite breakfast, Bella turned to me. Her eyes where a green grey color. "When would you like to make the appointment to let everyone know what has happened." she asked with a look of worry in her eyes. I took her hands into mine and kissed them. "How about we do it before dinner." I said. "It looks like the storm hit early and we wont be going anywhere any time soon. Dinner should be in a few hours correct." She nodded her head. " Then that is the best time. Everyone will know before dinner." I said nodding my head in reassurance. "Ok, I will let everyone know to meet me in my office before dinner. Let Joe and John know as well. They will have to be filled in as well." she said with a small smile on her face. "Everything is going to be fine love." I said. She looked up at me with the saddest eyes I have ever seen. A small tear ran down her check. "Whats wrong!?" I asked in confusion. "I just wish my parents were here to meet you!" she said tears falling down her face strongly now. I wiped them away kissing her red cheeks. "It is ok." I said pulling her into a strong hug. "I know your extended family will judge me like your parents would. Honestly I think I am more scared of that then anything else." I said honestly. I pulled her down on the bed. Making sure to grab the remote before laying my arm on her side. 

    We laid there for a moment, while I was flipping from channel to channel. Finally I landed on a movie channel, some scary movie was playing. Bella snuggled into my chest while we watched the movie. The best part was coming up and I knew Bella would most likely get scared. I held her tighter. The scene came up on the screen and just like I knew she would she jumped and rolled over me hiding behind my back. I rolled over to comfort her. I laughed at her. When I seen the anger in her eyes I felt bad. "Oh I am sorry baby, I guess I should have warned you about that part huh." I said, bringing her body close to mine. She was mad. I could feel how tense her body was under mine. I started kissing her skin letting her feel how sorry I was. She relaxed some. She started to leaning in to kiss me but instead I was meet with a hard hit to my chest. "What was that for!" I asked. She just smiled at me. "That is for making me jump and laughing at me." She said. 

    I started to tickle her, and she started to laugh under me. "Stop Matt, Please!" she said in between giggles. "Never!" I said back pinning her arms above her head. I attacked her sides making her laugh fill the room. I continued to move my hands up and down her sides until her laughs became silent ones, and tears from laughter feel down her face. I stopped and she finally caught her breath. "You meany." she said to me as soon as she was able to talk. Her eyes were locked on my hand. I hovered it over her side making her move away from it, giggling softly. I would take it away and she would relax but as soon as i brought it close to her again she would start to laugh. I raised my eyebrow and asked her, "Are you ok dear?" "No I am not ok. You now know my greatest weakness. I am super ticklish!" She said back to me with her cheeks red with embarrassment. "Aww I am sorry baby. I'll stop." I said back, but before I let her go I gave her one last tickle. Her laugh that time one loud and it was then that I knew that I would do anything to hear that laugh everyday for the rest of my life.     

    I looked over to her clock, "Well baby, it looks like time is on your side. We have to do the meeting now to let everyone know before dinner." I said to her helping her to sit up. "But I don't want to." she said back crossing her arms. "Well as much as I would love to stay locked in your room forever, we have to do this. Everyone is going to find out on their own if we don't." I said kissing her. "Fine, just promise me after dinner you will go get your things from your room and bring them in here." she said more demanded then asked. I just nodded my head at her. We both got out of her bed and fixed our hair and clothing. She went to go put a hoodie on and we walked out her room hand and hand. I quickly mind linked Joe and John letting them know where to meet us.
