The Orphaned Alaph

Chapter 16

{Bella's P.O.V.}

    Matt and I had a wonderful afternoon together. "Baby?" he asked. I hummed back to him, not moving my head from his chest. "I need you to get up. We need to shower and get dressed." he said. I lifted my head from him looking into his eyes. "For? We are snowed in. Can't we just stay here?" I asked. "Baby do you trust me?" He asked. I nodded my head. "Ok then, get up and get ready. I will pick out your outfit." He said jumping of the bed, pushing me into the bathroom. I got in the shower. When I got out Matt got in. I brushed my teeth and did my hair. By the time I was done Matt was getting out of the shower. 

    I walked out to our bed and there was a white box with a bow on it. I opened it and seen a blue dress. I picked it up and it was simple and perfect. I quickly put it on. It was a dark blue in color, it went to just above my knees, and it had a light sparkly to it. I looked down to the floor and seen simple black flats. I giggled at this. "At least you know that I do not do heals." I said towards the bathroom. He just stuck his head out of the door, toothbrush still in mouth. Squeezing his eyes together and a huge smile on his face. "Hurry up! I hate surprises." I said laying on the bed waiting for him. He ran out of the bathroom into the closet and quickly got dressed. He walked out with a blindfold. 

    "Umm what is that for?" I asked him. "You will see." He said. He placed it around my head and started to lead me to what felt like downstairs. I was confused on where we were going. I lost track after we reached the bottom of the stairs. I heard him open a door and pull me inside closing it behind me. I could smell the fire and the wonderful food. The assault on my nostrils was wonderful. I felt Matt let go of me. I panicked for a moment before I heard music start to play. His arms where soon again around me. He sat me down and pushed in the chair removing the blindfold. When my eyes finally adjusted I could not help but smile. 

    I looked around the room and seen the fire roaring. The room had some flowers, and the table was set for two our plates were already in front of us. I could see Matt's face from across the table, and I could not help but smile. "You did all this for me?" I asked in surprise. "Yes dear, I figured because we are trapped in here for some time I could at least do something nice for you." he said with a smile. A tear had rolled down my face by now and I quickly wiped it away. We finished our dinner over some light talk about our childhoods. I found out that he has two younger brothers and a baby sister. To say I was jealous was an understatement. He pulled me to my feet, and brought me close. 

    We danced for awhile and then he stopped. He had spun me around and as he did he dropped to one knee. When I faced him again he had a gorgeous ring in a little white box. "Will you Isabella May Waterson take me Matthew Lucas Anderson to be your husband, to stand by my side as my Luna,  be the mother of our children , till we both grow old." He asked. I could not say anything for a moment I just nodded my head. "I do, I will, I promise." is all I could get out before I felt him slip on the ring, and embrace me in a hug. He kissed my head. "I love you my bride to be." he said. "I love you too." I said back. I could feel the tears running down my cheek. As Matt was about to wipe them away, a worried guard busted into the room. "Alphas there is someone right outside the boarder asking for permission to enter." he said with fear washing over him. We instantly stiffened. I let go of Matt running towards the doors. I could feel Mavie wanting to come out, but I pushed her down. 

    Before I knew it I was already at the boarder, face to face with the person outside of it. The guards surrounded me making sure I was protected. "Speak" I said in my Alpha voice. I could see her stepping from one foot to the other. "Hello Alpha Bella, I see my dreams are true, you have found your mate, and have accepted his offer for your hand." She said. "And who are you? How do you know my name?" I asked with wonder in my eyes. "Well my dear, I am a light witch. And I know you because I knew your parents. I was with them the day they died. They told me to save you when the time came." She said. "WHAT IS YOUR NAME." I said, anger filling my voice. I could feel Mavie wanting to come out and rip her apart for mentioning my parents. "You already know that one dear, I am your godmother Audrey." She said. My eyes widened when she moved down her hood and I seen her face. "Auntie Aud's!" I said. I ran to her hugging her. I heard Matt's grumble. "You can pass, come inside its freezing out here" I said ignoring Matt's protest. 

    Back inside I helped her get comfy and warm. Matt was pacing up and down the hall. I kept trying to mind link him to calm down but I kept getting hit with his mind block. This was making me upset, why was he blocking me. I did not understand. I sat and talked to Aud's for a bit. "What vision did you see?" I asked her. "It looks like one from spring or early summer. I had seen a man with you holding your hand with that ring on it. I also had seen your mark. His face was always blurred out and I could never see it. I had to come and see for myself if it was all true." she said. "Now I know it is all true. Is it ok if i stay here for awhile until I can figure out why everything is happening." She continued. "Of course." I said bringing her into a hug. "I'll get your room ready and let you rest for the night, we can catch up more tomorrow." I said releasing her from my hug. 

    She went one way and I and Matt went the other. I was holding his hand and something did not seen right. "Are you mad at me?" I asked him softly. His face turned to meet mine, I could feel the tears forming in my eyes. "Of course not, why would you say that." he said pulling my face up towards his. "I tried to mind link you earlier but i was meet with a block. Your hands feel clammy and you have not said one word to me for the last three hours." I said with sadness in every word. He reached over and whipped away my tears. "I am not angry with you. Just nervous about the light witch. What if all she see's is bad." he said. I looked up at him. "You do not need to worry about that. We have each other and that is all I need. I will stand next to you until the end of time." I said. He just Smiled and nodded. "I am an orphan and you promised to always love me. I promise to always be by your side. I trust her and I hope soon you can to." I said with a smile on my face. He kissed my lips softly, and brought me into a hug. "I promise to try." he said. I nodded my head bringing my body closer to his.
