Chapter 15

I laid awake most of the night thinking about Sawyer. I got out of the bed and I made my way to the kitchen when I saw that the clock read 5 am. I barely slept. I was tired. I made myself busy in the kitchen for breakfast. Sawyer entered the kitchen as I pulled the bacon out of the fridge. "Alison, shouldn't you be sleeping?" He questioned with worry. "Technically yes, but I couldn't sleep." I avoided making eye contact. Sawyer put his hands on my waist and pulled me against him. "I'm sorry about last night. Are you feeling any pain right now?" Sawyer asked. "Not right now I'm not. Just tired that's all." I said pulling away from him. "Alison, I'm really sorry. I just wanted to get home. I should've stopped." I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him into a hug when I saw the tears well up in his eyes. "Sawyer stop please. I will call the doctor today and see if she can make house visits now. So we don't have to worry about it, but she may put me on bed rest." I said putting his face in my hands. He leaned into my touch. "I'm glad Jason lent you some clothes, and let you sleep in his room." Sawyer's voice wavered. I smiled and I brought his lips to mine. His hands tightened around my back pulling me against him. I pulled away and put the food back in the fridge and left a note for Jason to feed himself and that I'll explain later. Sawyer and I went up to our room. His hands found my hips and he hugged me from behind. His lips went on my neck. "I love you, Alison." He whispered in my ear. "I love you too, Sawyer." I reached up and put my hand on the back of his neck and moved my head to the side to give him better access. His hands found my breasts under the shirt, and my breath hitched in my throat. "Sawyer," I whispered. "I missed you last night." He whispered in my ear then he pulled away. "I'm sorry I was such a jerk." His face fell. I pulled him to the bed with me. "I missed you too. Let's get some sleep." I said with a reassuring smile. "I don't want to sleep, Alison. I want to make love to you." He said then captured my lips in his. He took the clothes I was wearing off. He sent a fiery trail of passion throughout my entire body. His lips were doing the unimaginable to my core. His hands trailed my body gently. He brought his lips to my neck as he moved me to my side, and my ass was towards him. He slowly but carefully entered me. I turned my head to get his lips as he thrust deeper into me. We hit our climax together. Sawyer drapped his arm over my side, and kissed my shoulder. "I really am sorry." He whispered. "Sawyer stop. Alright? You're dad showed up at the wrong time." I said rolling onto my back. "Yeah, but." "No buts, none of it. Sawyer you're a good man. Great even just stop beating yourself up." I cut him off. He went to open his mouth to speak but I stopped him. "Go get me food, and take care of my horse." I said sternly. "Yes ma'am." He said then got dressed while I took a shower. After Sawyer brought me some fresh blueberry muffins with French toast I called my doctor while Sawyer went to go take care of my horse. I decided I needed a nap. Now that Halloween was over, it was time for Thanksgiving. After a few hours of sleeping I needed to wake up. It's like Sawyer read my mind and brought some sandwiches for us for lunch. "Did you sleep well?" He asked concerned. "I did. But where do you keep your holiday decorations at?" I asked wiping sleep from my eyes. "Oh no you don't." he said and I looked at him confused. "You're not putting then up yourself." I face palmed myself. "I was going to ask you for help you goof." I said with a chuckle. "Now where do you keep them?" "In the basement, but I'll have Jason help bring them up. We'll both help you." He said pecking my lips. After Jason and Sawyer brought the boxes up I decided to decorate with the fall colors. We hung lights up on the house with orange and brown vines on the stairs. I sat down on the couch feeling a little tired. Jason and Sawyer sat down next to me. I stared at the dinning room table. "What is it?" Sawyer asked. "Something's missing. I can't figure out what it is." I sighed. "Stupid baby brain." "Remember that bowl of fake fruit that we had on the table when we were kids. you loved that thing." Jason said I gasped. "That's it!" I yelped. "Sawyer do you have one?" "I might have one on the barn loft." I begged Sawyer to go get it. He did happily. I placed the bowl on the table and I smiled. I felt accomplished. I laid in bed with Sawyer that night resting my head on his chest as he rubbed my belly. "Do you think I'd be a good mom?" I asked looking up at his face. "Baby, I think you'll be the best mom." he smiled and kissed my forehead. "Really?" I asked. "Of course. You have the biggest heart I know." He smiled at me. I smiled back. I took in his cowboy scent and I drifted off to sleep.
