I woke up with some minor cramps. Some is normal, as long as I'm not bleeding I should be fine. I'm just going to take it easy today.
13 weeks pregnant isnt too bad. Sawyer already brought me some tea, along with my vitamins. I smiled. I saw a note.
Had to run to town, hope you're feeling better. Be back soon. I have a surprise for you. -Love Sawyer
I smiled. I decided to grab a snack for myself, and 2 apples for Phoenix.
I grabbed my cup of watermelon and made my way to the paddock where Phoenix is grazing.
She saw me and perked up. I gave her the apples. I gave her some love as I waited for Sawyer to get back.
"What do you think he has up his sleeve?" I asked Phoenix. She just snorted at me. I laughed. I walked into the barn when I heard some shrill neighs. I looked and I saw a crazy horse break out of its stall.
He charged right for me. I froze. I couldn't move. I instinctively threw my arms up.
"Easy boy, It's alright. Shhh. You're fine. Calm down." I spoke quietly. All four of his hooves landed on the ground. "That's it. Easy now. You're going to be fine. I saw a lead rope on Phoenix's gate so I grabbed it an clipped it to his gray colored halter.
I led him to an empty paddock, where I let him go to run. He seemed happy to be running. This beautiful dark brown horse was so afraid until I calmed him down. I have a gift with horses. I smiled.
I walked back over to the porch. I closed my eyes until I heard tires on gravel. I opened my eyes to see Sawyer's green beat up truck being driven by Jason.
I got up so fast, I almost fell.
" Calm down," Jason said as he climbed out. "He's right behind me.
I turned to look at a bigger green truck come down the drive hauling a trailer.
I stood there confused. I looked at Jason.
"Trust me, you want to know what he's doing." Jason smiled then walked off to get his horse to move some cows to another pasture.
I watched Sawyer park the truck and get out.
"What is all this?" I asked.
"I figured we needed a truck with a back seat for the baby. So I saw this on the lot and I got it." He smiled and placed his hand on my bump that was getting bigger.
"What's with the trailer?" I asked.
"That's for me to know, and for you to find out." He teased. "But first I need you to close your eyes." He said. I closed my eyes and I trusted him to lead me to the trailer.
I heard the door open and I started to get nervous.
"You are the most incredible woman I have ever met, you make me the happiest man alive." Sawyer whispered in my ear. "Open your eyes."
I gasped. It was a white wagon with flowers with a sign on the back 'Will you marry me?' I was crying. I turned around to see Sawyer on one knee holding a ring.
"I love you, Alison. I know we haven't known each other long, but I want to be in your life for as long as you'll have me. So I'll ask you again. Will you be my wife?"
"Yes!" I screamed. I was crying happily as I kissed him. I knew I loved him deeply, but this was the best.
Sawyer gently pulled away to slip the ring on my finger.
The Luxe Willow Diamond was a beautiful ring that features delicate vines adorned with sparkling round diamonds and marquise diamond buds that reach for the center heart diamond. The perfect combination of natural elegance and breathtaking sparkle. There was even a wedding band that matched the rose gold color of the band itself.
"Sawyer," I gasped. "It's so beautiful."
"You deserve the wedding of your dreams. I will give you whatever your heart desires." He said then pulled me into a deep, passionate kiss.
I pressed my body against him. I heard Jason cheer in the distance. It made me giggle against Sawyer's mouth.
As Sawyer worked with the horses I started to look at dresses on my phone. I didn't see any that I really liked.
I sighed in defeat. This was going to be harder than I thought.
Sawyer put the horse away and walked over to me.
"Hey, don't stress to much. We'll figure something out." he said as he sat down next to me.
"You're right, I could use your opinion though." I showed him the dresses that I kind of liked.
He looked between the them. he motioned for me to stand up, so I did. he held the phone so that in a way the dress kinda had it on me.
"Hmm. If you want a summer wedding none of these would work, you'd over heat. But if you wanted something sooner, we'd have to get it adjusted. This one shows off the shoulders that I love so much, while this one may be short in length it will ride up too much in the front with the baby belly." He said, "But this one has the perfect everything for you." He said as he showed me his favorite dress out of all of them.
The Empire Sweetheart Sweep Train Chiffon Wedding Dress With Ruffle Beading was the best one. Even with me being pregnant it would work.
I smiled brightly at him.
"Thank you," I kissed him.
"I will do whatever you want me to. This is you're dream, I am only hear to help you have it." He said then we walked up to the house.
"It isn't just my wedding day, it's yours too." I said. He stopped and turned towards me.
"You deserve the best life can give you, baby. If you're struggling I'll help you, if you're sad I'll lift you up. Whatever you're feeling I'll feel it with you, but just know I'm not going anywhere. I'm right here." he said. I threw my arms around him, and I cried. No one has ever said words like this to me.
We sat on the couch as we talked about the wedding. It was just going to be us and a justice of the peace. I wanted Phoenix to be a part of the wedding too. I just wasn't sure how that was going to play out since I can't ride.
I will go to the dress shop in the morning and see if they have a dress available for me, and get measured. The nice thing about this dress is that it has a corset back, so I can adjust it if I need to. I am going to get measured for 20 weeks, but get married 2 weeks after that and have a gender reveal.
Jason already offered to do the reveal for us. we're going to also talk to a photographer about getting some pictures taken.
It may be a little fast, but I'm happy so the haters can hate.
