"The Town Paved With Children"

It all straeted when the mins in a small town blowed up . There was nothing or no one left in the town at all. Till this day it is still a ghost town so to speak there was more children that lost their lifes that day. Then anyone so I guess they made it into a scary story you would tell your kids so they didn't get into trouble or misbehaving as suck. Thats how the title come about the title will reveal itself in the final chapter of the book those who understand the concept of rashnality will see the meaning of the book itself CHAPTER 1 Well f**k, isn"t this just a short of a really bad day on the job! well, i know if the rummers are true and it is begining to look as tho they are. We still have a hell of alot more body's to find and im not so sure we are ready for all of that . Breford, have you even give it any thought at all. Ever since i could remember growing up my brother and i was told about the scary story of the "Town Paved in Children".. Never would i ever, thought it was true.Until i become the head investigator of the cold case unit. it all begin when a 13 year old girl name Suzie Borden went missing . She was a beautiful red hair and green eyed girl. She went missing walking home from school on a friday afternoon. She would always take the same way home she never stoped to talk to anyone either. Suzie Borden was a shy girl that never bothered anyone , always kept her room clean, and she always had good grades. suzie was not the kind of child to misbehave. She would always get home around 4pm everyday. Her mother would always wait for her at the end of driveway. On that friday evening when Suzie's mother was waiting on her daughter to return home like she did everyday before. When suzie didn't come home by 5pm her mother begin to panic. She knew something wasn't right at all so she called the police. That is the only thing she knew to do. She spoke to a gentleman by the name of Rogan Tomdosa he was the head guy over the missing persons unit. He had been over that unit for some years even way before i gotten my place as the head person of the cold case unit.. Mr. Tomdosa and i went to speak to Mrs. Borden at her home. we pulled into her driveway and as we was beging to go up the stairs to ring the door bell . Mrs. Borden opened the door and said please come in so we both walked into the living room and we took a seat at the table and waited for Mrs. Borden to be seated . when she took her seat that is when we begin to talk to Mrs.Borden. Mrs.Borden my My name is Mr.Tomdosa and here is my partner Mrs.Valbony im over the missing persons unit and I'll be the one looking over the disappearance of your daughter. Now, Mrs.Borden is there anyway by chance could I have a recent photo of Suzie so i can alarm the rest of the unit about the disappearance of your daughter .. Now, Mrs.Borden is there anyone you could think of that would wanna harm er in anyway? Is there anyone you could recall that might have taken a special interest in Suzie recently? maybe , someone who you just felt like something was off about them? Also is there a chance that her father could by chance be responsible? There was a long pause before Mrs.Borden began to speak. Well, no sir there isn't and as for her father he died in a car wreck just a few short years after suzie was born . she is a very shy girl sh would never talk to strangers . Hell, she hardly even talked to the people she did know. Suzie was everything you could want in a kid. She never bothered anyone. I know of no reason as to why someone would want to harm my baby girl. That is when Mrs.Borden began to cry even harder now than she had been . It was in that moment that Mrs.Borden realized that she may never see her daughter alive ever again. Mrs.Borden, in some cases there are ransom calls and they normally make them calls within the first 24 hours and if by The chance that ransom isn't met they will kill the child. Just for safety reasons I'm going to have a squad unit outside your home and also have someone in your home for I will also issue an amber alert right away . Suzie Borden 4'3 long red hair , green eyes. She was last seen leaving her school friday afternoon she was wearing a white and purple flannel checked shirt , white pants and black crocs. 24 hours turned into 72 hours then to 3 months just when Mrs.Borden begins to lose all hope Some hikers found some remains.in a shallow grave and there was clothing that was also found with the remains. The clothing resembles the missing 13 year old Suzie Borden clothes she had on the day she went missing. So when hours turned to days, days tuned to weeks and weeks turned to months. With no breaks in the case and no leads the case was passed to the cold case unit. To which I Maggy Valbony is the head investigator of the cold case unit. So when i got the news i wanted to bring in Mrs. Borden to see if she recognized the clothing. It's Heartbreaking to even begin to think about it. I called the number we had on file for Suzie's mother I got no answer. I then went to the address that we also had on file. I knocked on the door and a lady that smelled of alcohol answered the door. I said are you Mrs.Borden? The lady kind of shook her head trying to shake off the drunk from the night before. She slowly said, why yes I am and who in the f**k are you knocking on my door at 6am in the morning what in gods name could you want at this hour. Mrs Borden do you mind if I come in for a moment you may wanna sit down for what i'm about to tell you it is shocking and devastating news. Her eyes narrowed and she waved her head moustaiontiing me inside. Mrs.Borden my name is Maggy Valbony I'm over the cold case unit . you may remember me from when I was here with Mr. Tomdosa a few months back. Mrs.Borden I'm here because some hikers found some remains of what we believe to be Suzie's. There was some clothing pulled from the remains. I would like for you to ride down to the station.To see, if you can make a positive id on the clothing would that be at all possible? She sat in disbelief for a few mins, then Mrs.Borden cleared her throat and said yes . Let me get dressed and brush my teeth and I'll be ready. I shook my head letting her know I was ok with that , I waited for about 10 mins and then Mrs.Borden came down the hall. Of course she had to be feeling all types of things at this point and she didn't really say anything the entire ride to the station. Finally we arrive at the station and. chapter 2 Mrs.Borden begins to cry again. I have no idea what you must be going through right now but please know I'm here for you . Every step of the way Mrs.Borden . Now, I'm going to show you some clothing please take as much time as you need. I go into the next room to retrieve a bag that contains some clothing and I return to the room Mrs.Borden is in places the bag in the table and slide it to her. Mrs.Borden took a deep breath before grabbing the bag from the table. She placed her hand on the bag not looking up at it and slid it to her and when she pulled her head up eye level with the bag on the table she began to cry so hard she couldn't breathe and all shaking her head up and down saying yes it was Susie's clothing that she had on the day that she wasn't missing I wasn't so sure really what to say I haven't ever been in her shoes before I knew it had to be hard on her having to do it all along with no one to help her through the horrible time I'll give it a few more minutes and then I begin with Mrs Borden I'm so sorry for your loss and I do hope that we get the center of a b**** that did this to your baby girl would you like to keep her shirt after we are done gathering DNA and doing other testing Mrs. Borden took a second and shook her head with devastation all over her face I'm not going to keep it just to have an everyday reminder that my little girl is not only dead but was also murdered in cold blooded for what I'll never know Mrs.Valbony I would like to go home now if that's alright, Mrs.Borden asked in a sweet but awfully sad way. Of course, I said allow me a few more mins to finish up my paper work and sign a few more pages and I'll be ready to go. She met me with an agreeing nod . when I finished I locked the station up and we headed to the car. On the way to the car Mrs.Borden asked me something that I will never forget . she said to me , is there anyway that my daughters death had something to do with the "Town Paved WITH CHILDREN"? My lord Mrs.Borden that's isn't a true story it's just a story parents would tell their children so that they wouldn't misbehave at school or home. I'm going to get you home safe and head back down to the station to try and see if we get any leads a hit or something on the fiber from the clothing a DNA match something.im going to do my very best to get a break in the case you have my word on that. we arrive at her home she slowly release her seat belt and get out of the car . Before, she has time to shut the door. I tell her, here is my card feel free to call me whenever you would like to. talk or have any questions I'm here for you. she grabbed the card and said thank you and the closed the door. I headed back to the station to do more digging and come up short. I continued to research things and look them over two or three times and still I got nothing CHAPTER 6 While I was sitting at my desk going over the files for a fourth time. When the phone began to ring , I made phone calls I don't answer them. It continues to ring until the machine picks up. You can hear the message as they are recording. A raspy but, deep voice comes across the machine. He says, my name is Officer Fandom I'm with the Water County Police department and I would like to speak with Mr.Tomdosa about a child that has gone missing. The child went missing sometime last night . I understand he is over the missing persons until. I would like to arrange a meeting so we can get an amber alert put out as soon as possible. The man left his number and where he could be reached then hung up the phone. Clearly , Mr.Tomdosa was away at the very moment or he would have answered the phone call himself. I pulled my cell phone from my pocket and dialed his number. It rang twice and he says, how's things going on ur end have you gotten anything so far that we can work from. With a deep breath I replied, no sir I haven't. You should know a call just come in and there is a Boy who went missing last night. Officer Fandom, with the Water County Police Department was the one who called. He left his number where he could be reached. He wants to arrange a time to meet with you, so you can get an amber alert sent out ASAP. There was a short pause, then he said oh my goodness ok could you please give me the number. I'll contact Office Fandom and set up a time to meet with him and go from there. Would you like to assist me on this one as well. I think it would be a great idea for you to have some field work under your belt. Yes Sir, sounds good when do you suppose we might head to Water County. Mr. Tomdosa says, I'm going to call Officer Fandom right now and speak with him and then I'll let you know I'm sure it will be a few hours from now. I can assure you it will be today so, if you could go ahead and get everything you're going to need together and meet me at the station that would be great. Yes , I can do that and sir I'm already here at the station. Mr.Tomdosa replies, you been there all day haven't you ? Well, yes I have I'll be waiting for you to get here bye for now and then hung up the phone. A few hours later he arrived at the station ready to go to Water County which was like 2 hours away. Mr.Tomdosa was like, are you ready to go I nodded my head yes. Then we must be going now if we are going to make it by night fall. I'm going to rent a room because we need to speak with the family about the missing child. It will be too late by the time we get there to speak with Officer Fandom. We loaded up our things in the car and set off to Water County. We didn't really talk much the whole car ride. It was mainly quiet and relaxing. He broke the silence by asking me how was I doing so far with the job. If I liked it or if it was overwhelming at all. Of course not it just sucks not knowing exactly what happened to some of the victims of the recent cases she had to handle. I wanna find closer for all of them but, unfortunately that isn't the case with A Lot of them. We finally get to Water County around sun down and we arrive at the Water County Police Department. Where Officer Fandom was waiting on us he waved us in great you could make it. Let us get right down to business shall we. The child's name Windel Yanakawitch he is 13 years old. Apparently he went missing after his father had put him to bed. His father Mr.Yankawitch says he out Windel to bed at about 9:30. He said he ate took a shower and he himself went to bed too. When he woke up the next morning to get Windel up for school he wasn't in his bed. That's when he Noticed that the front door was cracked open he was sure he locked it up before he went to bed. Officer Fandom said , he told Mr.Yanakawitch that he would get a hold of the missing persons until to get a Amber Alert put out for his son. Now that you're here we can do that right Mr.Tomdoasa! Well of Of course we can that's not going to be a problem. I do have one question tho. Where is the best place to get a room around here Mr.Tomdosa asked Officer Fandom? Well I'm kind of glad you asked my wife and I have a guest house for you guys to stay in so you don't have to spend your money on a room. You can also have a home cooked meal as well. How does that sound? We looked at each other and didn't have to say a word to one another our eye did the talking for us. Then Mr.Thomdosa turned his gaze to officer Fandom and said while yes that's a great idea thank you so much and are you sure. We don't wanna be a bother to you and your wife. Officer Fandom said, no sense no problem. We followed him to his house and meat his wife we got settled in and not long after that we ate and went to bed we had a huge day tomorrow. So we just went straight to bed when then opportunity came. The alarm begin to ring at 6:45 he wasn't playing when he said an early day. We gather our things and headed The address that we had on file was this gated drive with a busser. and nice 2 story house. We rang the busser a males voice come over the speaker. How can I help you ? Mr. Tomdosa replied, I'm here to speak with Mr.Yankawitch about his son. The gate bussed and swung opene. We drove in and the gate closed behind us. We parked the car in the beautiful circled drive and slowly got out. I grabbed my bag from the truck and Mr.Yomdosa did the same. We walked up the spiral steps to reach the door. When we arrived at the door a Butler was waiting on us. He ushered us in and asked if he could get us anything we replied no thank you. So, he replied Mr.yankawitch will be right down to speak with you. He sat us down on this. beautiful swade sectional with extraordinary paintings on the wall. It had to be very expensive I'm sure. The The long hall was paved with white marble and gold trim. A man came walking down that same hall way. You could tell he was destroyed by this whole thing. Mr.Yankawitch , I'm Mr.Tomdosa over the missing person and this is my partner Mrs.Valbony which is over the cold case until. I know this is very hard for you but, we need to know what Windel was wearing the night he went missing. In detail would be great if possible Mr.Yakawitch, even if you may think it's nothing that it wouldn't matter. Infact every bit of information we can get is very helpful. After, clearing his trout mr.yakawitch said , yes I can Windel was wearing a yellow shirt, you know the ones with the smile emoji on it and a pare of black basketball shorts he wasn't even ready to go to bed but, then again what child is . I mean what child loves getting up for school the next day but he had to go ever since his mother died I have tried to make it a point to be with windel for often then I had been. I had a long day at the office last night n got home a little early so I figured I could spend what time I had before I had to put him to. Bed so we played on his Gameboy watched a movie ate pizza and give windel his bath. and put him to bed as I did every night. Mr.Tomdosa, when will you be issuing an amber alert for Windel? That's when I Mrs.Valbony said , Mr.Yankawitcv I noticed on the way in that you have cameras we are going to need to see the footage. Mr.Yankawitch nodded and said of course no problem. That's when Mr.Tomdosa answered Mr.Yankawitch question about the amber alert Well I have got to upload a recent photo of Windel and send it over all social media and news station so that the whole world will see that your son is missing and if anyone happens to see they can call the hotline numbers that are privited for information. Well I'm going to do just that now then we will be headed to try and see if we can dig a little deeper to see what really was going on behind the curtin so to speak. We said our goodbyes and back on the road we go . This is crazy all these these children that have come up missin and there is not a single trace of them. I thought that most of the car ride until I broke the silent with . You, don't find it odd how all these children have went missing and nothing turns up of them at all? There was a small silent moment before. Mr. Tomdosa said yes in fact it is odd. There has to be something that they all have in common or something alike or about the same . We really just had two cases as of right now that we know of. but, before I ever got this job children was coming up missing then too and had been years before . Not even then did they ever find any of them children not one. Well I take that back the sick f**k responsible for doing this messed up and made a mistake with Susie Borden. That's a start what was different about her Susie Borden was his/her first mistake. As we arrive at Officer Fandoms house where we will be staying the remainder of the time we are here in Water County. we gather our things from the car and went In to further our investigation. When we entered the room I noticed Tomdosa went straight for his laptop that he used to issue amber alerts and also to send to the media. He hasn't really said much at all so I figured he was working kn the case in his head so I stayed to myself and did the same . After the amber alert was issued and we got all the paper work files and ready for the press release there was a knock on the door.It was officer Fandoms wife . She was wondering if we would like to come and eat with them in the dinning room we looked at each other and I said of course we would. so we washed up and went on to the dinning room where there was food all over the table as it would look in a magizen or something it like that. we sat down to eat . Mrs. fandom started with I'm sure you had a long morning. I replied to her, why yes mama we did as a matter of fact. but like any other family we started with a prayer. there was a long moment of silence. before, officer fandom said. so, I hear you have issued the amber alert for windel. I'm waiting on the press release in the morning to give the media his picture. we still have to go through the footage from Mr.yankawitch. We finished up eating and we all washed our own plates and cleaned up the table. we finally sad our goodnight and we all went to our rooms. When we got back to the room I told Tomdosa that I was going to shower and call it a night . Tomdosa said, that dont sound like a bad idea. I grabbed my bath stuff and headed for the shower. I couldn't help but to think how all the parents fell. I couldn't imagine how they are feeling it makes me wanna feel for them.i knkw you cant save them all but there isnt anything wrong with trying eaither. I washed up and got out the shower dryer off put my clothes on and put my dirty ones in my bag. brushed my teeth and went back to the room. Tomdosa was on his computer like he always was . that was normal , he looked at me and said we got to get up early tomorrow as well . we have to be ready for the press release.
