ATHENS

It was one beautiful morning in the kingdom of ATHENS and as they say a beautiful kingdom comes with beautiful people The Queen of ATHENS was no different,her eyes so pretty with so much innocence in it,her hair so black and Long her lips as red as an apple she has the perfect body and her kindness was spoken of and has been seen by many in the kingdom .Birds were chirping and all the trees were so green in nature the rivers as blue as the sky, well with such beautiful scenery the people must be living well in happiness.One morning Amtrak went for a horse ride on her own so she reaches a spot to take some rest when she hears the cry of a baby,Amtrak got up close seeing a newborn wrapped in a cloth, she carried the child got on her horse and rode back to the palace.Arrived at the palace Amtrak calls her maid Amelia to come quickly and she answers yes your highness, want you to take this baby and nurse him make sure he's not lacking in anything, Amelia was curious to how the queen went for a horse ride and brought back a baby ,no questions Amelia do as you're toldAmtrak went to her chambers to freshen up and change her clothes, she slept for a while and later went to where the child was been nursed ,she said to the maids present as of now henceforth this child is mine and he shall be called"KAL"... yes your highness they obeyed the next day she called the kingdom's announcer he should announce thatATHENS now have an heir News of this reached others outside the kingdom so many wondered how Amtrak had a son when she had no husband,but no matter how curious they are it's not in their power to say what they feel like.Every Land has its Rule and traditions ATHENS customs was that every year 10 Virgins (16years)would be sent out to the neighboring kingdom to bear a child for some selected knights to keep the peace intact,so not every mother in Athens would want to have a female child that would be sent out to the neighboring Kingdom to bear a child for a man whom she doesn't Loves, well who are you to disobey the rules.It's almost that time of the year for the virgins to be selected and prepare to leave.For the celebration of getting a prince there would be a feast of course Amtrak said beaming with smile, get me Steve, ah speaking of him,my queen ...steve I want you to hold a feast for my son "kal"I want it to be grand and be spoken of around the kingdom ‚since you've given me this task I won't fail you....Good you may leave,the news got to those in the town and also outside the kingdom. Amelia go check on the young prince and bring me a better cloth to wear.The Night Patrol guards were on standby and the palace gate was closed other guards were marching and searching every inch of the palace for a suspicious person,one of the guards on duty started a discussion did you know why guards are patrolling everywhere I heard a prince was killed in this very walls and not just any prince a powerful one at that another guard replied to him and said there is more to this cause it almost as impossible to get to the meeting hall without being searched or interrogated by those guards so how true is this news it is mate I dare not lie ,hmmm let’s get on with the search aye!! My queen we just received a letter,yes what does it say,the king of starkov has received the news of his son’s passing,what ! how’s that possible,this letter just made everything clear this murder was an inside job and I’ll get to the bottom of it ,lord caspian walks in on them I heard the news and I had to rush over you should have stayed in the chamber I’ll take of this and what will that make of me ? in this difficult time how can I let a woman handle all this by herself you need my help and I’ll support in which ever way I can I’ll take my leave….prepare my horse am going outside the city,but my queen it’s too dangerous fret not am just going to see an old friend Amelia look after the palace and my son I’d be back she gets on her horse wearing a black cloak she rode her horse towards the palace gate but was stopped by one of the guards,who are you ? get down from the horse and identify yourself, and she raised her head towards their direction your majesty forgive my rudeness it’s fine open the gate,as the gate opened Amelia rode her horse as fast as she can hyah!hyah! so many thoughts on her mind one of which was how did the culprit kill a person and already knows the secrets passages of the east garden there is more than meets the eye hyah! hyah ! she gets to a bamboo hut and stops,she gets down from the horse as she was about going inside an arrow flew towards her direction but she was quick witted to dodge it,old man ! you haven’t changed this habit of yours well you haven’t changed of always letting your guard down in a place you think it’s safe what do you mean ? don’t ask too many questions why are you here better be quick with it cause this old man needs to get his sleep for the night.
