Chapter 1
Alice had always been fascinated by the legends of werewolves. Growing up in a small town nestled in the heart of the forest, she had heard countless stories about the creatures that roamed the woods at night. Some said that they were evil, bloodthirsty beasts, while others claimed that they were simply misunderstood.
Alice didn't know what to believe, but she was sure of one thing: there was something magical about the forest at night. As a child, she would sneak out of her house and wander through the trees, listening to the rustling leaves and the distant howls of wolves. It was as if the forest was alive, pulsing with a wild, untamed energy.
Now, as a young woman, Alice still felt that same sense of wonder whenever she stepped into the woods. She loved the way the moonlight filtered through the trees, casting eerie shadows on the ground. She loved the way the air smelled of pine needles and earth. And she loved the way that anything seemed possible under the light of the full moon.
It was on one such night that Alice first saw him. She was walking along a narrow path, her feet crunching on fallen leaves, when she heard a rustling in the bushes. She froze, her heart pounding in her chest, and peered into the darkness.
That was when she saw him emerge from the shadows. He was tall and lean, with dark hair that fell in waves around his shoulders. His eyes were a piercing blue, and as he stepped into the moonlight, Alice could see that his skin was almost translucent, as if he glowed from within.
Alice couldn't help but stare. She had never seen anyone like him before. He was like a creature from a fairy tale, something otherworldly and impossible.
"Hello," he said, his voice low and smooth.
Alice's heart skipped a beat. "Hi," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.
They stood there for a moment, staring at each other, and then the man took a step forward. Alice felt a shiver run down her spine as he approached her, his eyes locked on hers.
"What's your name?" he asked.
"Alice," she replied.
"Alice," he repeated, as if tasting the name on his lips. "I'm Gabriel."
Gabriel. The name suited him, Alice thought. It was strong and mysterious, just like he was.
For a moment, they just stood there, gazing at each other. Alice felt as if she was under some sort of spell, unable to move or speak.
And then Gabriel reached out and touched her cheek. His fingers were cool and soft against her skin, sending a jolt of electricity through her body.
"I've been waiting for you," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Alice's heart skipped a beat. Waiting for her? What did he mean?
But before she could ask, he leaned in and pressed his lips to hers.
It was like nothing Alice had ever experienced before. His kiss was gentle and sweet, but there was an underlying hunger there, a wildness that made her feel alive. She found herself responding, her arms wrapping around his neck, pulling him closer.
They kissed for what felt like hours, lost in each other's embrace. Alice had never felt so alive, so free. She felt as if she was on fire, her body ablaze with desire.
But as the kiss ended, Alice began to feel a sense of unease. She pulled away from Gabriel, her eyes searching his face for answers.
"What are you?" she asked.
Gabriel's expression grew solemn. "I'm not entirely human," he said. "I'm a werewolf."
Alice's heart raced as she tried to process what he was saying. Werewolves were real? She had always thought they were just legends.
"You're a werewolf?" she repeated, her voice barely above a whisper.
Gabriel nodded. "I know it's hard to believe, but it's true. And I wanted you to know the truth about me before things went any further between us."
Alice felt a surge of fear and excitement wash over her. She had always been drawn to the supernatural, but this was different. This was real. And it was dangerous.
But as she looked into Gabriel's eyes, she knew that she could trust him. There was something about him that made her feel safe, despite the danger that came with loving a werewolf.
"I believe you," she said, her voice firm.
Gabriel smiled, relief evident on his face. "I'm glad," he said. "Because there's something about you, Alice. Something that draws me to you. I don't know what it is, but I can't resist it."
Alice felt her heart swell with emotion. She had never felt such a strong connection with anyone before. It was as if they were meant to be together, despite the differences that set them apart.
"I feel it too," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Gabriel leaned in and kissed her again, his lips soft and urgent against hers. Alice felt as if she was falling, tumbling into a world of moonlit desires and f*******n passion.
As they parted, Gabriel took her hand and led her deeper into the woods. They walked in silence, their hands clasped tightly together, as if they were afraid to let go.
Eventually, they reached a clearing, bathed in the soft glow of the moon. Gabriel turned to Alice, his eyes blazing with intensity.
"I want to show you something," he said.
Alice nodded, her heart racing with anticipation. She had no idea what he had in store for her, but she knew that she wanted to be a part of it.
Gabriel stepped back and began to shift, his body contorting and twisting as fur sprouted from his skin. Within seconds, he had transformed into a massive wolf, his eyes gleaming in the moonlight.
Alice felt a surge of fear and excitement wash over her as she watched him. She had never seen anything like it before, and it was both beautiful and terrifying at the same time.
Gabriel let out a low growl, beckoning her closer. Alice hesitated for a moment, but then stepped forward, her hand outstretched.
As she touched his fur, she felt a jolt of electricity shoot through her body. It was as if she was connected to him on a primal level, as if they were two halves of a whole.
For the rest of the night, they ran through the woods together, hunting and playing like two wild animals. Alice had never felt so alive, so free.
As the sun began to rise, Gabriel shifted back into his human form, his body shuddering with the effort. Alice watched in awe as he transformed before her eyes, amazed by the power and beauty of the creature that he had become.
They stood there for a moment, catching their breath. As they stood in the clearing, Gabriel let out a low growl. At first, Alice was frightened, but then she realized that it was coming from deep within him, a primal sound that echoed through the forest.
And then she watched, amazed, as he began to transform.
His body grew larger, his features more bestial. His fingers elongated into claws, his teeth sharpened into fangs. His clothes ripped and tore as his body contorted, until he stood before her as a fully-formed werewolf.
Alice was stunned. She had never seen anything like it before. But as she looked into Gabriel's eyes, she saw the same gentle intelligence that had drawn her to him before. He was still Gabriel, even in this new form.
She took a step forward, her hand reaching out to touch the soft fur on his muzzle. Gabriel nuzzled into her hand, and Alice felt a warmth spread through her body. It was as if they were connected, two halves of the same whole.
For a while, they just stood there, in the clearing, lost in each other. Alice felt as if she was living in a dream, a beautiful, magical dream that she never wanted to end.
But eventually, Gabriel shifted back into his human form, and they lay together in the grass, under the light of the moon.
"I've never shown anyone that before," Gabriel said, his voice soft.
Alice looked up at him, her heart overflowing with emotion. "Thank you," she said. "For sharing that with me."
Gabriel smiled, his eyes softening. "I wanted you to see who I really am," he said. "Werewolves aren't monsters, Alice. We're just...different."
Alice nodded, understanding. She had always felt like an outsider, too. Like she didn't quite fit in with the rest of the world. But with Gabriel, she felt like she belonged.
They lay there for a while, in the quiet of the forest, lost in their own thoughts. Alice knew that there were dangers that came with loving a werewolf, but in that moment, she didn't care. She was happy just to be with him, to feel his warmth against her skin, and to know that she wasn't alone in this world.
Eventually, they got up and walked back to Alice's house. As they stood at the edge of the forest, Gabriel leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips.
"Goodnight, Alice," he said.
"Goodnight, Gabriel," she replied.
And then he disappeared into the trees, leaving Alice standing there, her heart full of wonder and longing.
As she walked back to her house, Alice knew that her life would never be the same again. But she also knew that she wouldn't have it any other way. She had found something magical, something otherworldly, and she was determined to hold onto it, no matter what the future might hold.
