Every dragon and creature looked on as the most powerful roar channeled through the air, shaking the earth's surface and causing piercing thunder to rattle at the misty clouds. The King looked up, his face morphed into one of sadness as he felt the snapping of a bond really large. A family member. His daughter. He knew when he looked at her on the field what she was intending to do. He saw the fearful determination and the powerful will in her expression and he could feel the warmth she was pushing forward onto him. Still, he couldn’t imagine the thought of losing her. First, his dragon and now his only child, both died at the hands of a monster even greater than any of those he had known, even Seraphina.
