"Lame" Quinn looks at him in disgust. Eric struggling with his feet as the rope strangles him. In minutes Eric Edward was gone. He died. Some people watching the scene who knew cried in silent. Betty struggling to save Eric was knock out cold. A horse snorted with princess Setsuna riding in her horse toward the arena. She jumps over swinging her sword. It sliced the rope of Eric tied to his neck. She swiftly catches him. She holds unto him.
"Eric, Eric, Eriiiiiic! She shouted. The entire arena was silent and shocked to see the princess crying over Eric.
"Eric, you can't leave me. No, I am sorry. Please Eric get up". Eric's body was as cold as ice. She place her head on his chest and she screams out loud in the middle of the arena. Her voice echo's to the extent one could hear the crowd crying along with her.
"What is this? They are all crying. This is lame". Duran and his servant walks out of the arena. Darius and Quinn follows. Though they wanted Eric dead but the atmosphere had made them feel guilty. King Marcus watching rub his hands in his face feeling the Echos of his daughter voice. He walks down the stair towards Setsuna and just then his eyes widened.
"Eric, I am coming along with you, Wait for me". Setsuna reaches to her sword aiming the sharp blade for her neck. She held steadfast to her resolve and ready to kill her self. King Marcus shouted.
" Setsuna stop" he stretches his hand to stop her however the sword was thrusting the air already aim for her neck. The sword closer to her when suddenly a hand swings striking the sword from her hand. Setsuna opens her eyes.

"Where am I? Erics's voice speaks out. Setsuna so happy hugged Eric with tears over him.

"If any one wish to touch Eric. They have to go through me before they get to him even if his my father. I will kill for Eric and then kill my self" Setsuna glares.
"Is that so, how about I kill your mother and brother along with you" the king replies.
"Let Eric live. I will marry the prince and go along with every thing but on the condition that Eric live and would not be touch".
"Very well" said the king. " I will permit Eric to leave but you are coming with me right now. Jake will see to it that Eric is brought home safely and Jake".
"Your majesty the king, see to it that my words do not fall to the ground". The king commanded.
"Yes, my king, I will carry out your orders immediately." Jake and two of his friends Romeo and Titus picks Eric out of the Arena. Setsuna, the king and the guards walks away. Setsuna was to leave for Santarosa with Duran that very day. If Duran finds out that Eric is alive. It would be a problem and so leaving Andcross will solidify his words to spare Eric's life. Setsuna had no choice but to get ready.
The evening of day, Setsuna iss dressed in fine yellow gown of silk. she hugged her mother and brother and then she enters her own carriage accompanied by ten of her knights of integrity and Alex the second in command made preparation for the journey.
The journey took a two full day plus and at the end of the day. She stare from her window. a city with towering structures towered up to the sky. The engraving on the doors with rose emblem of Santarosa. Setsuna is escorted to her Chambers to rest and prepare for the ball in two days and Duran melt with the king. Duran heard about Eric been alive and thus spoke with the king.
Duran explained all that had happened in Andcross kingdom and the dangers await and reasons why he should mount the throne and king Gregory stroking his beard listening and smiling.
"You see father, if I can become king, I can stop Darius plans of raising enemy that threatens you " Duran said with smile in his face
"Become king, who ever mentioned you to become king, the initial idea is to learn from marriage and grow up to be a man though I wanted you to rule And cross because it's peaceful but , you will surely mess things up" king Gregory said stroking his beards
" But father, I can do it, I am more competent than king Marcus''
"Competent, you have no military training, you have no idea to manage a small group of people not to talk of a kingdom and even Marcus who is competent in all this, decided to give up the throne because of the responsibility of that sit, do you think it is child play to be king. folding hands and just commanding people to do whatever you want, throwing luxurious parties, f*ucking women of your choice, is that being competent.
