Adrian walked into the room and saw Evelina hiding under the blanket, trembling in fear. "They are gone," he said. "You are safe. They won't come back," he assured the woman.
Evelina slowly removed the blanket from her face and gazed at him. "You should leave. You cannot save me. Thank you for your help. I'll surely pay you soon," she said while keeping her eyes low.
Adrian, however, didn't leave. "I cannot leave you because you still have to answer my questions," he sternly said. "For now, just take some rest. I'll order some healthy meals for you." He took out the phone from his pocket while Evelina just stared at him.
