I stopped breathing and thinking that moment to be able to process a word of what she just spewed right now.
"I can't find her, she was with us one second and the next minute she needed a little air which turned to hours. I went to shift in the woods and I saw her royal necklace and..." She choked on her words and Rue got extremely impatient.
"And what?"
"And some blood stains with some strands of her hair as if it was being pulled out. I had to alert anyone as I don't know what that meant." She sniffed and Rune shook his head, I was blank as anything right now.
My mind traced back to when she reached out to me and I shook my head, denying it. I denied the reality that Nyx had needed my help a few hours ago but I shut her out.
