Nyx's Pov
It was time to leave Rune's Clan and none of them were happy, I had stalled time, using my brother as an excuse, that he might come over to pick me up only to spend my quality time with his mother and sister.
They were few and happy, hiding their scars behind their back. Her frustrations back then at the ball was because of her fear of what might befall him which made her react that way too often.
Zayn never came and it got me worried, was he so mad at me that he couldn't even care to check on his friend who almost died last night. Rune was confident that he was going to come over and I should just relax but the embarrassment and disappointment burning through my body now was great.
I was injured too and almost stopped moving but I moved, not relenting effort till I got here.
