Nyx's Pov
I didn't understand why I was here, why everyone was looking at me as I'm some sort of queen when I'm in nothing but a strange pack.
"We'll be fine as long as our mate is here with us." My wolf tried to coax me and I looked up to stare at Zayn who looked slightly irritated, his actions were calculated, a clenched fist and jaw with a straight face to send a message that he doesn't want to be messed up with and all I did was stare at the pretty mansion that was ten times grandier and bigger that the one in our pack.
"She's not drinking a dime, take it out." Zayn's sharp and deep voice made me glance at the poor maid who tried to serve me and she bowed.
"I'll get punished by the Alpha if she stays thirsty."
