My Ex Boyfriend is my Boss

Sebastian Wilson is a 24-year-old man who worked as a CEO for his own company. He is from a wealthy family and he has been able to get everything he likes since he was a kid. But as he grows, he feels that something is missing in him and he does not know how to fulfill it. He is a part of LGBTQIA+ and to be specific, he is bisexual. He was not aware of it and he did not know how to handle this kind of situation. And he was thankful that he had his best friend since he was a kid. His name was Danielle and a part of the LGBTQIA+ Community. Sebastian's POV Today is the weekend, so my family is planning to take a vacation in Bali, Indonesia, because my mother really wanted to view the beaches and volcanoes. We started to pack all the things we needed and started our trip. When we reach our destination, we get into the hotel and we rest for a few minutes. Then I decided to take a walk all by myself and enjoy the place. When I was walking, I bumped into a man accidentally. “Oh My God! I am sorry!” Man: Oh, it’s alright. Wait, you are familiar. Are you a famous actor in the Philippines? “Yeah, you know me? Are you a fan of Filipino films?” Man: Well, yes, I am really a fan of Filipino films because I am a Filipino. “OMG! I am really shocked. I thought that you were from here because of your looks and the way you talk to me. By the way, I am Sebastian Wilson. And you?” Man: I am Theodore Mason and, yeah, I know you. You are the most famous and talented actor in our country. “Well, thanks for the compliment, Theodore. By the way, I really need to go. I am currently with my family and we plan to enjoy the beaches here.” Man: Yeah! Sure, take care and hope to see you again and, hopefully, in the Philippines. “Yeah. Of course, I'd love to see you again, especially in our country.” After my conversation with Theodore, I don’t know, but I felt something weird in my stomach. I felt that there was something inside it which I cannot describe the feeling, so I was not bothered and continued walking until I reached the hotel where my family was staying for the rest of our trip. When I walked inside, I saw my mom cooking lunch for us. When she saw my presence, I waved at her. Hi Mom, what are you cooking? Mom: Hello Sebi! Your right on time, I am cooking your favorite “Chicken Caldereta”. “Really! That looks delicious. I feel so hungry now.” Mom: Ok Sebi, go to your room first I will just call you when the food is ready. “Ok mom” After my conversation with my mother, I proceeded to my room and let myself feel the bed and rest for a while. Then suddenly, Theodore came into my mind and what I felt after our conversation. I cannot define what it is, but I cannot leave Theodore’s face in my mind. So, for me to enlighten him, I called my friend Danielle and told him everything that happened to me that morning. Hey! Danielle are you free? Danielle: Yeah, I am just at home as always, I am lying on my bed and waiting for my parents to come from their work. “I do really think that you are so sad at your home, and that’s a good thing because I will tell you something about what happened to me this morning.” Danielle: That sounds really fun. Go start your story so that I won't be bored and not feel alone at home. “OK, so my family and I were here in Bali, Indonesia for vacation purposes. And when we reached our hotel room, I decided to take a walk alone and accidentally I bumped into a guy named Theodore. He was a handsome man, Danielle.” Danielle: Wait? First of all, are you in Bali, Indonesia? “Yeah! Oh My God! I am really sorry I forgot to inform you we needed to rush on the plane yesterday because we were late.” Danielle: Well, what can I do anyway? Why do you think that the guy you bumped into is handsome? What are you…? “I don’t know Danielle. I guess yes because when we started our conversation, I felt something in my stomach and I felt shy when answering his questions.” Danielle: Confirmed Sebi, you are one of us, you are now part of the LGBTQIA+ Community. “But Danielle, I don’t know how to tell this to my family and friends. You are the only one who knows this.” Danielle: Don’t worry Sebi, I will help you anyway, when you come back here to the Philippines for us to have… you know, bonding moments “OMG Danielle I just left the Philippines yesterday, yet do you want me to go back there? Well, anyways, I still don’t know because my parents will be making the decisions.” Danielle: Well, I guess I need to wait for you to come back and, again, welcome to the LGBTQIA+ and I am assuring you that you are always welcome in our community. “Thanks Danielle. I am really lucky to have you as my best friend. Anyways, I need to end this call. Thanks Danielle for everything, you really made me more comfortable.” Danielle: You’re welcome, Sebi. As I always say, I am always here to support you and make you comfortable as always and I know that when I am in your position you will still do the same. “Of course, what are friends for, right?” Danielle: Anyway, goodbye Sebi and always remember that you had a best friend on your back that is always here no matter what happens. “Thanks Danielle, take care and see you soon.” After my conversation with Danielle, I really felt comfortable and feel more secure that even though I am in this kind of situation, someone will still accept me and will still be on my side, no matter what happens. After that, my mother called and said that our lunch was ready, so I stood up on my bed and left my room. In the kitchen I saw that my family was talking and stopped when they saw me coming… Dad: Oh, Sebi, come sit with us and let us eat lunch. “Sure, Dad, thanks.” And once I sat on my chair and got ready to eat my food, my mother asked Mom: Oh, Sebi dear I forgot to ask you earlier, where did you go when you left? Uhmm mom walked for a while and enjoyed the view here in Bali before we started to go to the beach and explore other places here. Mom: That’s good! I hope that you enjoy the view here. Yes, Mom, I really enjoyed it a lot. From the good-looking sceneries to the personalities of the people that I met here earlier. Mom: Really, Sebi, have you encountered people here earlier? Yeah, mom well, he said that he was not from here. Just like us, he was also just a tourist. Mom: That’s good dear, at least on your first day here you have a friend, right? Yes, mom and I’m really glad about it. After we eat our food, we spend our time in bonding moments like playing board games inside our house, because my family decided to start our trip tomorrow since it is too late. We played chess, and sang our favorite songs,, talked, and as I can say, it really helps us, especially me, in forgetting all the problems I have in my life. The next day, we started our trip and we first stopped at Mount Agung. According to our tour guide, it is an active volcano. It is the highest point on Bali. And it dominates the surrounding area. While our tour guide is busy explaining facts and different information about the volcano, I am busy on my phone, taking pictures of the volcano and the gorgeous view that I can admit helps me to eliminate just for a while all the problems I have. While I was busy taking pictures, my mother called me and said that we were going to have a family picture. After the picture, I decided to post the picture and gave it a caption of “Family is not an important thing. “It’s everything.” This quote is from Mr. Michael J. Fox, which I have believed since I was a kid up until now, that I am 24 years old because of its message. At 12:00 noon we decided to have our lunch at a restaurant and we spent our time there until 3:00 pm in the afternoon. We were just talking, laughing, taking pictures, then I am just at the side wearing my earphones and listening to my favorite music. Then, after, we proceeded to our next destination, which was Kuta Beach. Actually, my favorite place is the beach because here I can find my peace and let my mind speak. Then we spent time on the beach. We decided to go to our hotel rooms and eat our dinner, then, after, I laid on my bed and my best friend Danielle called me. Danielle: Hey Sebi! How is your vacation with your family? “It's really tiring, Danielle, but it really makes me happy because it helps me to forget all the problems that I have in my company.” Danielle: Well, that’s good to hear. Where did you go? “We went to Mount Agung, then we went to Kuta Beach, then here, even though we went. There are just two places it is still tiring, friends.” Danielle: The picture you posted is of Mount Agung? Oh My God! I really wanted to go there. “You won’t believe it that the view there was breathtaking. And I can say that the view on Mount Agung is different from the view in other places.” Danielle: Did you see the guy you talked to me last night? What is his name again? Theo… Theo… oh its Theodore. “I did not see him. Don’t put him up in this conversation. He is just my friend and it is impossible that we meet again.” Danielle: Ok Sebi! But you know that I am jealous of you because you were at the places that you wanted, like now you are in Bali, Indonesia, while I am here staying at my home all by myself. “You do not have to be jealous of me, Danielle. Don’t worry, when I come back to the Philippines I will make sure that we will have our bonding moments in any place or country that you’ve wanted.” Danielle: Really is it a promise? Maybe you are just telling jokes at me, then when you come back you will not make your promise. “Danielle, I am not telling jokes and one more thing, once I promised something I will do everything just to fulfill it, especially I promised on you my one and only best friend.” Danielle: Well, I believe you and I will wait till you come back here and we will spend our time together in my favorite country. “Sure, that’s what I wanted my best friend to feel. I wanted you to feel happy and excited.” Danielle: Thanks, Sebi, you are always there when I am in my tough moments. I don’t know how to pay you back. “Pay me back, everything you’ve done is enough. You always make me feel comfortable and I can tell everything about you which is a big help to me.” Danielle: Anyway, we are now at the drama episode of this phone call. I needed to end it. My parents were now on their way home and I needed to eat dinner. I was hungry. “Go make yourself full! And as always, remember that I am beside you eating dinner and laughing with my crazy best friend.” Danielle: Hahahahahaha good bye Sebi! “Bye Danielle” After that conversation I fell asleep and had a dream!!
