Dangerously yours

CHAPTER NINE

Sighs 

I carry the bag gently, lock the doors move back into the passenger seat and place them on my legs trying carefully not to break any, of course I have spare decorations Incase of an accident during delivery but if the spare breaks what would I do?. 

I prize myself on being absolutely perfect in my execution of orders, from baking, decorating to delivery. 

"Are you set to go Princess, you got everything?." Reid asks me.

"Yeah, let’s go."

"Fasten your seatbelt love." 

I do as he says and he sets off. He drives us back to the restaurant so I can I get my own car. 

He follows me to my car, I drop my bag of supplies  and purse behind it the passenger seat. He hugs me goodbye.

"Goodbye Princess, drive safely. See you around." He says 

"I will Soldier, thank you for going with me, you didn’t have to. Goodbye." 

I note that his hands linger on the curve of my back, I can’t help but take a deep breath of his masculine smell. I should really ask what aftershave he uses. 

He watches me drive away before he drives away himself. As I drive home I think about the eventful night. I can’t deny that I still have unresolved feelings towards him, I really hoped with time this crush I have been harboring will fade away, but it’s still there if not stronger. 

I have definitely dated when I went to college but the raw animal intensity between I and Reid cannot be faked. I know he just got back but I don’t know if he has a special someone waiting for him here, I really hope not. 

I sigh

I have a long night ahead of me. 

I park my car in my driveway, as I walk into the house I call out for Dorothy and she comes running tail wagging.

"Hey baby, I missed you today, did you miss mama ? how are you sweetie?." I rub her stomach vigorously. 

I let her out to pee and go to my bedroom to undress and take a shower before I start decorating.
