7 Pilar was hot. Unbearably. Like Mexico on a summer day with no breeze kind of hot. She tried to move, but she was also pinned down. And not alone. Alarm flipped her eyes open. She didn’t want to alert whoever was holding her down so she carefully scanned her surroundings. She was still in the small cabin in the woods with Jack.
