Tall trees, adorned with gnarled branches and covered in vines, cast deep shadows that danced and flickered along the narrow path. The air was thick with the smell of damp earth and the rustling of leaves and snapping of twigs, echoing throughout the forest. It was a night that held a mysterious energy, a feeling that something was about to happen. Perhaps it was the full moon or something else, but the atmosphere was tense and charged. The leaves rustled and whispered in the wind, and the branches above her head creaked and groaned. A woman stood in front of a narrow path. The dense underbrush seemed to close in on her. She had a slim, athletic body with long, black hair cascading down her back. Her hair was straight and shone under the moonlight. She had a delicate face with high cheekbones, full lips, and deep-set expressive blue eyes reminiscent of a blue moon. Her skin was sun-kissed and had a healthy glow, despite her situation. Her posture showed strength and determination as if she had faced many challenges. She wore a black tank top that showed off her toned arms and a pair of cargo pants that clung to her curves. Her hiking boots had scuff marks, likely from the distance she had already travelled. Overall, she exuded a sense of mystery and power that drew attention to her, even in her current state of vulnerability. The woman looked around and realized she recognized nothing. She couldn’t remember anything about herself - not her name, not where she came from, or where she was going. The trees, bushes, the path, everything was unknown to her. It was like a part of her was missing, a part that held all her memories and experiences. Fear coursed through her veins, and she couldn’t shake it off. She didn’t know what was chasing her, but the adrenaline was pumping through her body, urging her to keep running. Fear overwhelmed her as she realized all the unknowns. She was scared of what was behind her, scared of the strange, primal energy that coursed through her body and urged her ever onward. She didn’t know how long she had been running. For all she knew, it could have been minutes, hours, or even days. All she knew was that she had to keep going. She had to keep running. Running further, she questioned where she was going. Was there a place where she belonged? Was there anyone who knew her and could help her? The thought of being alone was overwhelming, and she longed for some connection, a familiar face or voice. Suddenly, something shifted in the air, almost invisible, but it was enough to make her stop. She looked around, breathing hard, eyes wide, darting from tree to tree, searching for any sign of danger. The forest was quiet, the only sound the distant hooting of an owl. But she felt that something or someone was out there. Something had caught her attention. Was something or someone hunting her? She didn’t know where to go or what to do, but one thing was clear: she had to get out of there. She had to find someplace safe. She heard a noise. It was faint at first, just a rustling in the bushes, but then it grew louder. She didn’t know what to do, which was very unsettling. She was just a woman, alone in the woods, with only her wits to protect her. Unexpectedly, she felt something stirring inside her. And that’s when she felt the change. An unfamiliar energy pulsed through her body, filling her with strength and vitality. She closed her eyes and focused on that feeling, drawing it in and using it to pull herself to her feet. It was like someone had flipped a switch inside her, and suddenly she was no longer just a woman. She was something more. She felt a surge of energy, a primal force that coursed through her veins. Her senses became sharper, her reflexes faster. It was like she had tapped into power she didn’t know she had. She turned and ran, her heart pounding in her chest. She ran faster, ducking and dodging around trees and leaping over fallen branches. And that’s when she saw it. A light in the distance, shining through the trees like a beacon. She didn’t know what it was or who it belonged to, but she knew it was her only hope. Her legs were in motion, and her heart pounded as she rushed toward the light. She had to try even if she didn’t know what she would find. As she got closer, she saw that light was coming from a cabin. It was small and rustic, with a thatched roof and a single window that glowed with a warm yellow light. The light in the distance was a faint glow, barely visible through the trees, but she felt drawn towards it. Not slowing down, she kept running toward the cabin and hoping to seek refuge. She ran towards the light, her heart pounding in her chest. As she approached the source of the morning, she saw the small cabin nestled in a clearing in the woods. She felt a surge of energy, a primal force that coursed through her veins. Her senses became sharper, her reflexes faster. It was like she had tapped into power she didn’t know she had. The woman ran as fast as she could, her heart pounding in her chest and her feet pounding against the forest floor. She didn’t know what she was running from, but she could feel the danger closing in around her. Suddenly, she heard a loud snap, and the ground beneath her gave way. She stumbled, trying to catch her footing, but it was too late. She was tumbling down a cliffside. The woman felt her body slam against rocks and trees as she tumbled down the cliff. Pain seared through her, but she refused to give in. She knew she had to keep fighting, to keep struggling. She couldn’t see where she was going, and the impact of rocks and trees slamming into her body caused intense pain. As the pain in her body grew more intense, she wondered how much more she could take. Her mind raced with fear and uncertainty. She didn’t know how far she had fallen or what awaited her at the bottom of the cliff. But she knew she had to keep pushing and fighting for her survival. She refused to let doubt and confusion consume her. Instead, she focused on her body's feeling, her breath's sound, and her heartbeat's rhythm. She was determined to keep moving, fighting, and never giving up. As the pain intensified and the world around her faded, the woman knew that her fight for survival was far from over. She came to, lying at the bottom of the cliff. Her body was bruised and battered, and she could feel blood oozing from several wounds.. While she tried to move, a wave of pain washed over her, and she cried out. The woman knew that she had to get help. She couldn’t stay here, vulnerable and alone. She closed her eyes and focused, using her keen senses to catch any signs of life nearby. The woman heard rushing water in the distance, and she knew it was her best chance. She forced herself to stand, biting her lip to suppress a scream of pain. Eventually, she took a step forward and then another, slowly making her way toward the sound of the river. She stumbled onto a rocky outcropping overlooking a rushing stream. She collapsed onto the ground, too exhausted to move any further. There she was, her body trembling from the pain, her thoughts going a million miles a minute. She didn’t know how she was going to survive this. She didn’t know if she would live or die. But she wanted to keep fighting. Slowly, the woman closed her eyes, her body went limp, and she could no longer stay awake. Her fatigue was so great that she couldn’t put any thought together, let alone move. She closed her eyes, and everything went black. She drifted into a deep sleep, her body too weak to keep going. Unaware, the woman had entered the Moondance pack's territory.
