Training with the Alpha

After lunch Lily and I head back to the pack house, our pack house contains all the high ranking pack members. The fifth floor is for Alphas, fourth floor Betas, third floor gammas, second floor omegas (in our pack we do not belittle omegas, they a key component in our back so we have them elect a head of omegas to speak on their behalf and to keep the Alphas updated on any problems that arise) , and the first floor is for guests, common spaces , kitchen, and the dining hall. We head up to my room and I mind link my mom.

REIGN: Mom do you maybe have time to do some extra training with me and Lily classes got canceled, but I’m sure you already knew that

Of course she would be informed with all the visitors from other packs and some of them being future Alphas there is no way she would not know

CASSIE: I can train with y’all for an hour and then I’m leaving you in charge of making sure all the high ranking guest rooms are ready we need 6 . Eclipse packs future Beta Lucas and future Alpha Thomas , Rising moons packs future Gamma Damion and future Alpha Nick and Trinity packs future Beta Felix and their future Alpha Triplets Maximus, Knight , and Klaus they requested to share a room so they’ll get the guest suite .

I inwardly groan but Jane is excited

Jane: Maybe they won’t be tools and they spar with us I’m dying for a real challenge

She all but purrs, rolling my eyes I link my mom back

Reign: We’ll be at the training ground in 20!

Cassie: Excellent sweetie I’ll see you there!

I close the link and tell Lily the plan. Luckily we’re the same size and Lily loves training as much as I do so she just nods and heads for my closet in search of something to wear. I grab a black sports bra and a pair of leggings and she grab a pair of spanx athletic shorts and a T-shirts and puts her hair up in a messy bun. After we’re all dressed and ready we head out.

“Do you think Alpha Cassie would train with me without you? I know she treats everyone fairly but I can’t help but wonder if her training with me an omega is just a perk of being your friend” Lily questions. “ Lil your one of our best fighters. Why wouldn’t you be able to train with her? And you really think she would be okay with you becoming my Beta if she thought lowly of you?” I state with pride. My mother is a bad ass she has always made sure our whole pack felt more like a family than anything else. She also allows you to choose who you want to be . An omega wants to be a warrior great , a beta born wants to be the head chef awesome , I want Lily to be my beta fantastic. The only thing she requires is we take it seriously, we train hard and we work hard to get where we want to be. If you don’t take it seriously you will be assigned something that better suits you.

“I know it’s just such an honor. The moment you spoke to the Alphas they upped my training. They even have me shadow Beta Eric so I can fully understand the position. I want to make them and you proud, you know” she says. She has no idea how proud I am. She has taken this so seriously since the moment the words left my mouth. The pack is more than lucky to have her and Slim as there future Beta. “I know Lil , you got this” I say with a big grin “now come on if we’re late the Alpha will have our heads” I shout over my shoulder as I run for the opening to the training grounds” I can hear her giggle and start after me. Right when I enter the field I’m tackled from the side and all I see is strawberry locks as I hit the ground. I quickly buck my attacker off and growl taking a low fighting stance.

Jane: That was a cheap shot

Reign: I know it won’t happen again!

I assure her.

“Reigny dear you must always be aware of your surroundings” my mom states with a smirk.
