The Fragments of Truth

"Is she an enemy?" Jest spoke into the head of Kelsey. "No, she is a good person. Hold on, your voice seems familiar ..argh" a sharp pain envelopes the whole head of Kelsey. Images of what happened last night is surging on him. "I was stabbed last night and my belongings" Kelsey searched for his body to see a wound, and he found a scar. "Men, you almost died last night. No worries, I have already healed you, but do not move too much as I just closed the wound since I'm very capable of healing", Jest boasted and slowly go out at the body of Kelsey . While Jest is slowly coming out of his body, Kelsey is about to vomit and have a weird feeling for Kelsey. "Ugh, damn about that is so unpleasant feeling. I demand some explanation of what is happening", pointed to Jest.

Jest turn to a ball “So you want the truth right? Here is the truth.” Jest glowed and blinded Kelsey, and he found himself on a road, and he could see a man bidding farewell to his wife and patting the head of his child. “Lad surrounded my family more than any gold in the world” the voice of Jest echo. Kelsey saw from Jest's perspective and felt the pain of seeing how his family turned out. Twinkling bright lights are spinning and when it stops he sees a man sitting on a gold throne with a crown laughing vigorously, “Here, lad, to feed my family. I made a fool of myself. In front of the crowd, for coins,” a sad tone from Jest that he stop struggling to talk and now focussed to listen. “In game called life I play fair I never hurt anyone or even stole from them instead I gave what I can give” the voice of Jest struck the heart of young Kelsey made him think that he did the same. The scene changes and fire is everywhere he sees his hand pushing a door on fire, and later he finds his wife and child lifeless along with the big debries. The house collapsed everything went pitch black. “I was in charge of poisoning the king, I was charged for a crime I didn’t do”. Kelsey felt that his hand was burnt but still listening. To what Jest was saying. “I did everything and I just wanted to have food on our table” Droplets of liquid fell from his hands and when Kelsey touched his face he found himself crying. “After I died, as my soul wandered aimlessly”, the sorrowful vibe is lifted and the room becomes brighter. After Kelsey’s eyes were able to adjust to the light, he saw him sitting while his legs were crossing head down while Kelsey at the back standing. “I was found by a shaman merge me to a cane and seal me. Use my soul to use it for battle, experiments and worse, to kill someone”. Upon hearing what Jest said, Kelsey decided to walk towards Jest and sit

“I managed to escape with the help of the shaman. He lifted the cursed seal, but unfortunately, the shaman caught up.” Kelsey gazes at a faint glow in the eyes of Jest, and he feels the sadness he is bearing. “Due to the battle experience of the shaman, we have been defeated, and then It cost the life of the apprentice” Jest looked at Kelsey and smiled. “After I escaped, I wandered around again and time passed. Then modern days arrived. I stumble towards you and feel the apprentice spirit. I thought it was late when I found you”. Jest lifted the magic images. Kelsey was shocked to know that Jest had found him. “You saved me? How?” Kelsey asks Jest, wondering how a ball of light could save him. “I got two options to get my physical form to rush to the hospital, but I can't reach on time and second to close the wound, temporarily heal you”, Jest explained while lifting his hand and 2 fingers signaling the options. Kelsey was ashamed of what he did, apologized and thanked Jest. “Stop it lad, I’m just here to repay the debt of the past and I don’t want to fail twice” Jest pats Kelsey's shoulder. To cheer up Jest and lift the mood, Kelsey fixed the chair and went to the kitchen a make a new cup of coffee. “ I need to get in your body to drink this coffee”, jest said to Kelsey explain how it works for them. “Now this is the best coffee“ Jest exclaim as he has never savored any coffee in many decades. “I guest we got some similarities, but now I need to help nay Lottie“ Kelsey get up and Jest replied“ I’ll tag along to see this nay Lottie”.

Kelsey and Jest head to Nay’s Lottie’s house and when they arrive, Nay Lottie asks him to lift a refrigerator but asks him to wait, as she will call for help. “Oh my this is a double door it’s too heavy, and I need help on this” Kelsey uttered. “You think so ? Close your eyes and imagine that you can lift it “ Jest stop Kelsey and instruct him. Kelsey got a good grip and lift “open your eyes” Kelsey heard the voice of Jest and upon opening he saw that he lift it 5 inches above the ground. “What gasped the earth happened here.” Kelsey gasped at first but slowly moved the fridge to its new location. “Let me explain with my soul take over I enhance you muscle that allows you to lift heavy objects without stress but on certain amount only as it will strain your body or worst damage it” Jest explains and right after Nay Lottie arrives and said while entering “Hay naku there is no available person to help you” leaving her slipper behind the door and when he looks on Kelsey direction and found that the fridge has been moved. Nay Lottie was so shocked and Kelsey broke it, saying “I learned a technique in the store, how to get it since I’m the only one.” Nay Lottie did not question it as she found somehow reasonable. They cleaned almost the whole house, but not Nay Lotti's late husband's room. Nay, Lottie asked for a rug and a bucket of water, as they will wipe some furniture. “Nay, I have the bucket “ Kelsey said while bringing up the bucket, and he opened the door. Kelsey saw nay Lottie is sad while looking around . Kelsey tapped Lottie’s shoulders and consoled her “Nay I bet he is already on a better place”. Nay Lottie nodded and replied with a gentle smile. “We should get going and clean this already". Nay, Lottie grabs the bucket and wipes some of the furniture. Kelsey cleaned the other part of the room but what caught his eyes was a samurai's katana hanging on the wall. "Lad, keep your hands off, on that thing, as it is cursed" Jest warn. Kelsey while starring at the sword. "I will cook something and you continue and finish it up OK?" Nay Lottie headed outside. Kelsey could hear the clanking sound of a pan and stove. "Kelsey! Get away from here!" Jest warned Kelsey and they heard a scream downstairs. Kelsey went down "Lad wrong way!" Jest continues to warn Kelsey and later finds a lifeless body of Nanay Lottie on the ground and a mysterious figure.
