Since my 18th birthday was during the week we had a dinner at my favorite restaurant in town, just a small little Japanese place. Now that it’s the weekend I can head over to the lake house and have some real fun. I pack up my truck and call Ash and Avonna. They meet me at the lake house and we set up everything for the next couple of days and begin playing some board games before we decide on dinner. I beat Ash and Avonna in a game of Jenga. As we sit around looking for places to eat, I hear a voice in my head saying hello. I freak out it’s my wolf! Ash and Avonna just look at me like I’m insane. They’ve had their wolves for a few months now but I can remember them being super excited too. My wolf tells me her name is moon. She’s super active and sweet. I tell her I’ll talk to her in a few minutes because dinner is on it’s way, Ash and Avonna decide on Chinese while I was flipping out over moon finally coming forward.

There’s a knock at the door, I go to answer it thinking it’s the Chinese.. I was wrong. The door flies open knocking me to the ground. Ash and Avonna already shifted into their wolves knocking down the unknown wolf. I finally gather myself and see a beautiful large dark brown wolf with a large white strip down the middle of his face. As I get everyone to calm down, I ask the unknown wolf what’s going on, he says he’s name is Onix and that he was scared he was being followed. We all look at each other worried about what might happen. Ash and Avonna pull me aside and say” he can’t stay here, “ I than tell them “ he can stay I’ll keep an eye on him, it’ll be my fault if anything happens” they agree and sit down. The Chinese finally arrives and I give half of it to Onix though he declines. I shrug and ask him why he was being chased in the first place. Onix looks at us and looks down “my father has lost his mind, I’m supposed to be his only child but come to find out my mother had a pup when she was sixteen so I’m no longer in line for alpha and he is mad saying he wasted all his time on me.” We all look at each other I question “ why is he taking it out on you?” Onix looked at me “because I protected my mother from him and hide her.” We were all surprised. I tell everyone “let’s continue this in the morning and Onix you can sleep in the room next to mine just in case you need anything.” We all go to different rooms.
