DONALD'S Pov.

    "Woke up to a bright morning freshen up, dressed and started thinking of something to make Lydia complete the week here but then my phone started ringing so I picked it up."

"Hello Donald speaking."

"Good morning sir Gloria speaking from Parker group."

"Yes so what can I do for you?"

"Sir my boss Mr John Parker is inviting you for a party tonight his marriage anniversary. He sents his apology for a late invitation as he never knew you were around."

"Apology accepted tell him I will be there so what time is it?"

"Seven pm prompt."

"Okay do have a nice day." With that I dropped the call smiling to myself I wish such events keep occurring so I can use them to my advantage. I was about leaving for breakfast when I met Lydia outside I guess she was doing the same thing. We stared at each other for a couple of minutes before I decided to break the akwardness."

"Going for breakfast?"

"Umm yes sir ."

"Okay let's go then."

"We headed for the restaurant got a seat where a waiter was there waiting to receive our orders. I ordered my usual when am out  of Africa which is scrambled eggs, toasted bread and veggies along side a cup of coffee while she ordered oatmeal, becons , scrambled eggs with a glass of fresh orange juice wao I was impressed cuz it was her first time overseas but she adapted so fast to their meals.  Few minutes our food was served as we eat and made little chats."

"Is a good thing you adapted to their kind of dishes."

"Had no choice."

"She said smiling.

"Anyways we will be attending a party tonight. One of the company's biggest client is celebrating his 70th anniversary so I need you to be ready by 7pm."

"Okay....so what is the code?'

"Ladies white."

"Ooh is that so.... I will go shopping after this."

"That's fine I will accompany you."

"Huh."

"She had a shocking expression on her face."

"Yeah you might get lost since you are new here."

"I spoke not looking at her as I concentrated on my breakfast for I knew that was not the actual reason I wanted to accompany her."

"Umm.. okay." 

"We continued eating and once we were done we went to get changed for shopping. I wore a sexy grey trouser matching it with a white long sleeve tortoise neck top along side a white tennis shoe. I was ready but I knew she isn't as I decided to wait for her at the lobby but I was wrong as I met her out of her room ready to go. She was wearing a grey short jump suit and a grey sandles looking simple but hot and beautiful ussh Donald control yourself."

"Ready?" I asked.

"She nodded. We got into the car as I drove us to a shopping mall where she got into a clothing store looking for the gown she wants tonight while I on the other hand just sat at the waiting area to wait for her. After 30minites I think, she came back with a nylon bag."

"Am done let's go."

"I looked up surprised but why this early? Jerry told me she takes two to three hours when shopping and wait who paid for her?"

"Ummm so soon, have you paid for them ?"

"I don't usually take long while shopping you know but I do have a sister who can shop for the world hahaha and yes I already paid for them so let's go."

"I was dazed her laughter sounds like music to my ears.  We left and got into the car.

"Since it's almost lunch let's just go straight to the hotel's restaurant."

*Okay." She said.

"We arrived at the hotel went straight to the restaurant for lunch after which she headed back to her room."

"Thanks for today will go take a nap and don't worry will be done by seven so we could be on time."

"I just nodded and smile as she made her way inside. I got into my room thinking about what Lydia said while falling on the bed. Jerry told me she shops for long and she never uses her money to pay for any of the things she's buys then Lydia made mention of a sister but then again Jerry didn't tell me she has a sister but even if she does they can't look so much alike right? Something isn't right she is not whom my brother said she is she is different unique calm loving she is the exact opposite of the girl Jerry talked about. With my mind wondering I slept off."

"I woke up to my alarm boozing it was 6:30pm so I got into the closet, selected the dress am putting on tonight and laid it out on the bed before going to have my bath. After having my bath I took my time to dress cuz I wanna kill her tonight with my good looks. I am putting on an Ash tuxedo suit with a white inner shirt along side a Salvatore Ferragamo black shoe looking ever handsome as always. After am done dressing up I looked at the time it's 5 minutes to seven so I headed to the lobby to wait for her."

   "After few minutes there she was  putting on an African Style Elegant Party Sexy Vintage Women Long Dresse. A one Shoulder Bodycon Split Female Ruffles Maxi white Dress and I think the brand name is clocolor Material along side a square Crystal heels sandals. Her make up is just perfect her braids  folded into a pony tail. Trust me I wasn't the only one staring she got everyone's attention and I was like what the hell people she is mine. I walked towards her to shorten her distance and there I did something out of my league. When we met I took her hand giving a Chase kiss at the back of it as I looked into her eyes."

"You look perfect." 

"And you look handsome as always." Hearing that I smiled getting one from her too.

"Shall we ?

"Sure."

"I opened the door for her as she carefully entered. Closing it I got to the driver seat and we took off. We arrived at the venu which is covered by paparazzi. I looked at her and as I imagined she is nervous so I held her hand giving her an assuring squeeze."

"Don't worry I will be by your side just give them your best smile and I will handle the rest okay?"

"Okay." She responded.

"I got out and being the gentle man that I am, i opened the door for her feeling their flashes on my back. I held out my hand taking hers as I led her through the crowded paparazzi thank goodness there were security guards preventing them from coming too close but one managed to ask some few question."

"Mr Donald we are suprised you came. We know you are one of the most richest young bachelor's in Africa who is successful both at home and abroad is that right?

"Of course it is right." I said that with all confidence giving them my signature smile as I left Lydia's hand and held her by the waist getting a gasp from her."

"For years now you have been visiting but we've never seen you with a woman so is she the "one"??

"My hold on her waist became tighter then I give in my famous smirk."

"Yes she is now if you will excuse us we have a party to attend with that i led her inside but daggers she sent my way didn't go unnoticed. We got inside to see that the party had already begun thus I led her to a table to sit while I get us drinks. I was on my way to get the drinks when Mr John came my way."

"Donald how nice of you to come with such short notice."

"He smiled at me giving me a tight hand shake which I returned."

"I couldn't say no could i." We both burst into laughter. So how is your wife by the way where is she?

"She is around mingling with the guest and you,  are you alone?

"Ummm not actually I came with someone ."

"You came with someone...is it a she?

"Hahahahaha mr John of course it's a she."

"Then I most say Africa did you good."

"We both laughed as i understood what he meant.

"Okay I will let you go now don't keep her waiting once more thanks for coming and enjoy the night."

*With that he left while I go for the drinks. I returned with two glasses of white wine in hand only to see another dude seated by her side but as gentle as I am, i do not need to start a fight so I came giving her hers."

"Babe who is he?" I asked and I could see the surprise in her eyes.

"Emmm Ronald meet my ....

"I immediately cut in before she spoils everything

"Her fiance." I could see the dude surprise looks for a while but he regained himself smirking as he stood up giving me a hand shake."

"Nice meeting you Mr.....

"Call me Donald."

"Okay Donald you are Lucky you got such a gem do not hurt her. Lydia it was nice meeting you. "With that he left and I am left to face Lydia's rod."

"What was that all about she asked."

"What are you talking about?"

" You know what am talking about."

"Am sorry I don't." Said that putting on a not interested face.

"You know what, I do not want to ruin this moment but we will definitely talk about it when we get back."

"I still didn't act or look interested." After the party we left for the hotel but as we arrived she hurriedly walked into the hotel taking the lift but thank goodness I was fast in catching up with her."

"Wow what was that for?"

"And what was that you did at the party?"

",Now I could sense she is pissed but I still acted cool like I don't know what she is talking about."

"I've told you I don't know what you are talking about. As the lift opened she stormed out but I ran after her stopping her as I held her arm. She wheeled around looking me straight in the eye there I knew I crossed my limit cuz I've never seen her this pissed."

"You know what Donald I can handle you being rude arrogant and even mistreating me when it's all about work but what I won't take is you telling people we are a thing when we are not and you interfering in my personal life. I've been loyal to you even though you've constantly treated me bad and belittled me. Tell me something what on Earth do you want from me tell me cuz I want to know what I did wrong. Tell me is there something I did that made you hate me this much just tell me so I can apologize and get this over with cuz am tired and can't take it no more please just tell me."

"I was startled by her out burst as she started yelling then began crying as she falls holding my feet. I felt bad and regretted everything I did to her. Wanted to let it all out there and there. Wanted to tell her how I hate her for leading my brother on thus causing his death and how my parents couldn't handle the fact that their favorite son is no more and thus led to their demise. Wanted to let her know how I suffered, how I woke up and became an orphan all thanks to her but to make it worst I have fallen in love with her and I so much hate myself for that. With all that thinking I started trembling as tears slide down my cheeks."

"If I've have ever done you wrong unknowingly please forgive me please forgive me and stop treating me like dirt please cuz I can't take it no more."

"She said in between her sobs still holding my feet. I stood there frozen while she kept pleading and crying. After a while everything became so quiet I then looked down only to realize she has pass out I guess exhausted from too much crying. I picked up her purse removed her card to open her door. I now carried her bridal style inside and laid her on her bed. I removed her shoes her jewelries and got a cloth from the bathroom to clean off her make up. I then called for a female room attendant who changed her into something comfortable. Finishing up I covered her with an extra sheet giving a Chase kiss on her forehead and left."

"I got into my suit freshen up and got to bed with so many things running through my mind. What am I to do now? Am in love with the woman responsible for my family's misfortune and my misery. What is fate trying to do ? How can this happen I was supposed to hate her, make her suffer not falling in love with her. I then decided we will return tomorrow and with that I drifted to sleep."
