LYDIA'S Pov.

    "I was up and super hungry as I rush to brush and take my bath. After which I got dressed rushing out to the restaurant but then I met Donald outside guess he was up for the same thing. We stared at each for a while before breaking the akwardness as he said;"

Going for breakfast?"

"Umm yes sir ."

"Okay let's go then."

"We headed for the restaurant got a seat where a waiter was there waiting to receive our orders. Since it is my first time overseas I  had difficulties adapting to their type of dishes but with time I fell in love with few and those few includes oatmeal, becons , scrambled eggs which I just ordered for along side a glass of fresh orange juice while Donald on the other hand ordered his favorite breakfast dish which is scrambled eggs, toasted bread and veggies along side a cup of coffee. I learnt it's his favorite breakfast dish when ever he is out of Africa. Few minutes our food was served as we were eating and made  little chats."

"Is a good thing you adapted to their kind of dishes." He said.

"Had no choice." I said smiling.

"Anyways we will be attending a party tonight. One of the company's biggest client is celebrating his 70th anniversary so I need you to be ready by 7pm."

"Okay....so what is the code?'

"Ladies white."

"Ooh is that so.... I will go shopping after this then"

"That's fine I will accompany you."

"Huh." Did i just hear that right or was it a joke?

"Yeah you might get lost since you are new here."

"He spoke not looking at me rather concentrated on his meal thus letting the topic go as I just shrugged it saying."

"Umm.. okay." 

"We continued eating and once we were done we went to get changed for shopping. I wore a sexy grey short jump suit and a grey sandles looking simple but hot. I was ready but thought he won't be as I decided to wait for him at the lobby but I was wrong as I met him out of his room ready to go. He wore a sexy grey trouser matching it with a white long sleeve tortoise neck top along side a white tennis shoe looking handsome as always."

"Ready?" He asked.

"I nodded. We got into the car as he drove us to a shopping mall where I got into a clothing store looking for the gown to put on tonight while he on the other hand just sat at the waiting area waiting for me. After 30minites I think, I was done with my shopping as I met him at the waiting area."

"Am done let's go." He looked up surprised and he asked;"

"Ummm so soon, have you paid for them ?"

"I don't usually take long while shopping but I do have a sister who can shop for the world hahaha and yes I already paid for them so let's go."

" We left and got into the car then he said since it's almost lunch let's just go straight to the hotel's restaurant which I agreed. We arrived at the hotel but headed for  restaurant for lunch after which we both headed for our rooms as I was at the door to my room headed back to my room, i turned and said;"

"Thanks for today will go take a nap and don't worry will be done by seven so we could be on time."

"He just nodded and smile as I made my way inside. I got into my room and fell on the bed as i drifted to sleep."

"I shook looking at my phone to check what time it is and realize it's some few minutes passed six. I made my way to the couch where my dress for the night was laying. I picked it up as I removed it from it's shell laying it on my bed before heading for a cool bath. After my bath, I got dressed did my make up, my hair and guys guess what am wearing.... Am putting on an African Style Elegant Party Sexy Vintage Women Long Dresse. A one Shoulder Bodycon Split Female Ruffles Maxi white Dress a Material clocolor brand with a square Crystal heels sandals. I did final touches before heading for his room. I stood at his knocking but no response so figured out he is waiting for me at the lobby thus headed for the lobby. I arrived the lobby through the lift and there he was in all his glory putting on an Ash tuxedo suit with a white inner shirt along side a Salvatore Ferragamo black shoe i think looking ever handsome as always. But as you know I became the center of attraction hahahaha of course I noticed it even Donald was dumb struck when he saw me hahahaha. He then walked to me and did something suprising. He took my hand placing a soft kiss at the back of it as he looked into my eyes and said;"

"You look perfect." 

"And you look handsome as always." Hearing that he smiled getting a smile from me too.

"Shall we ?

"Sure."

"He opened the door for me as I carefully entered. Closing it he got to the driver seat and we took off. We arrived at the venu which is covered by paparazzi there I started feeling nervous. I guess he noticed cuz he looked at me, held my hand giving me an assuring squeeze."

"Don't worry I will be by your side just give them your best smile and I will handle the rest okay?"

"Okay." I responded.

"He got out and being the gentle man that he is, he opened the door for me as i could see their flashes on his back. He held out his hand taking mine as he led me through the crowded paparazzi thank goodness there were security guards preventing them from coming too close but one managed to ask some few questions."

"Mr Donald we are suprised you came. We know you are one of the most richest young bachelor's in Africa who is successful both at home and abroad is that right?

"Of course it is right."  He said that with all confidence giving them a smile as he left my hand grabbing my  waist getting a gasp from me for I was taken unaware."

"For years now you have been visiting but we've never seen you with a woman so is she the "one"??

"He's hold on my waist became tighter then he gave a smirk."

"Yes she is now if you will excuse us we have a party to attend with that he led me inside and i couldn't help but send daggers his way which am sure it didn't go unnoticed. We got inside to see that the party had already begun thus he led me to a table to sit while he gets us two glasses of white wine." 

"I was waiting for Donald when this cute guy walked to me but he is no cuter than Donald."

"What is a beautiful damsel doing sitting all alone?

"That made me smile and he didn't fail to do same."

"Well let's just say she is lost." We both busrt into laughter as he takes a seat by me.

"May I join you?"

"Sure you may."

"Am Ronald Banks. You are?

"Am Lydia Jones."

"I must say you are a sight to see."

"Hahahaha OMG you are funny and trust me that sounds like flatter."

"Definitely not. I don't flatter you are actually gorgeous."

"Thanks. But you ain't looking bad yourself." That got another laughter from his lips.

"As we were engaged in a heated discussion I heard someone call me babe and on looking it was Donald and I was like what the f**k is he up this time around?."

"Babe who is he?" 

"Emmm Ronald meet my ...."He didn't even let me introduce him as he immediately cut in.

"Her fiance."

 I could see Ronald surprise looks but he regained himself smirking as he stood up giving him a hand shake."

"Nice meeting you Mr.....

"Call me Donald."

"Okay Donald you are Lucky you got such a gem do not hurt her."

" He then turned to me smiling."

"Lydia it was nice meeting you. "With that he left Donald and I.

"What was that all about i asked"

"What are you talking about?"

" You know what am talking about."

"Am sorry I don't." He said that putting on a not interested face.

"You know what, I do not want to ruin this moment but we will definitely talk about it when we get back."

"He still didn't act or look interested." After the party we left for the hotel but as we arrived I hurriedly walked into the hotel taking the lift unfortunately for  me he was fast in catching up with me."

"Wow what was that for?" He asked.

"And what was that you did at the party?" I was already pissed while he still acted cool like he doesn't know what am talking about."

"I've told you I don't know what you are talking about. He said."

"As the lift opened I stormed out but he ran after me stopping me as he held my arm. I wheeled around looking him straight in the eye thus I know my reaction suprises him for he has never seen me this pissed but who cares after all he caused it."

"You know what Donald I can handle you being rude arrogant and even mistreating me when it's all about work but what I won't take is you telling people we are a thing when we are not and you interfering in my personal life. I've been loyal to you even though you've constantly treated me bad and belittled me. Tell me something what on Earth do you want from me tell me cuz I want to know what I did wrong. Tell me is there something I did that made you hate me this much just tell me so I can apologize and get this over with cuz am tired and can't take it no more please just tell me."

"I  could tell he was startled by my out burst as I started yelling then began crying as I falls holding his feet."

 "If I've have ever done you wrong unknowingly please forgive me please forgive me and stop treating me like dirt please cuz I can't take it no more." I spoke in between my sob's while I continued crying as he just stood there  not saying anything, not doing anything just frozen on the same spot thou l felt his body trembling but was too tired of looking up as I suddenly passed out."
