THIRD PERSON POV

"Lydia wakes up realizing that she is in her suit dressed in her PJ's but how she wondered cuz the last thing she remembered was passing out due to exhaustion after begging Donald for God knows how long. She took her bath and instead of going down for breakfast as usual, she ordered in room service. After 30 minutes her food was delivered to her room as she began digging in. She ate everything on her plate, drank her juice and called for room service to clear out the table after which she decided to go for a stroll in the beach to clear her head."
"On the other hand Donald had woken up taken his bath and left for breakfast but he didn't bother to call Lydia as the tension between them was still on. After he had his breakfast he headed back to his room when he saw a lady coming out from Lydia's room.
"Excuse me. Did she have her breakfast already?
"Yes sir .
"Okay you may leave now." He got into his room as he made some calls and arrangements for their departure. After everything is done he goes to inform her to pack since they are leaving in two hours. He stood at her door knocking for minutes but no response so he headed for the lobby maybe she went out. He got there and asked a couple of employees if they ve seen her thus was told she walked towards the beach so he followed. He looked for her at the beach and there she was standing by the sea shore watching the waves he guessed as he gently made his way to her side unnoticed."
"Beautiful isn't it?" He said startling her a bit.
"Yeah it is beautiful."
"Ummm... about last night...
"I don't wanna talk about it please but about my dress...
"I asked a service to do it."
"Ooh thanks."
"She mutters. They stayed silent for a while enjoying the morning breeze."
"We have to head back now he said."
"Why?"
"Cuz we will be leaving in an hour."
"She turned and looked at him a bit excited."
"Really? He could hear the excitement in her voice."
"Yes really so go pack up."
"Okay I'll head back now. You coming?"
"Right behind you." They headed to their rooms, packed and was ready to go. They got to the airport and boarded the jet for departure. Lydia sat at the same spot as before and plug her headset as she closed her eyes. Donald was restless he was scared of what will happen when they get home for he knew why Lydia was excited coming home thus with that thinking he drifted to sleep. Few hours later the hostess shook them up for dinner. They ate their meal silently but Donald kept an eye on her every few minutes. After few hours, the pilot announced their landing. After a successful Landing, they got out from the jet as a limousine was already waiting for them but there was another car an SUV but now he wondered who it was for. The moment Lydia came to sight, the drivers door of the SUV opened revealing Sam.
"Hey there beautiful "
" Lydia screamed as she ran towards him. He hug- lifted her as he spinned her round."
"I missed you so much handsome."
"I missed you more darling." They still hugged each other as they expressed how much they missed each other. Donald was consume by jealousy as he got into his limousine and drove off and before Lydia could notice, the car was gone.
"Who was that? Sam asked.
"My boss she shrugged. Anyways let's go." They got into the car and took off .
"So where too?
" My place let me freshen up then we can have dinner."
" Where if I may ask."
"You know where. They both smiled knowing exactly where. They got to her house as she freshen up and changed into something simple but cute.
"Shall we?"
"Hmm you look hot said Sam. She giggled.
"Thanks Sam. They left and arrived at their favorite cafe, Cafe Vienna. They got out of the car and headed inside where they sat on a table beside the window before a waiter came for their order. Lydia ordered for chicken dje along side fresh pineapple juice while Sam ordered a plate of chicken chips, fruit salad and a glass of avocado fresh juice. Within thirty minutes their food was served and they dug in as they made little chats.
"Ummm my gosh how I missed this."
"hahahahaha I know for you couldn't get this over there yeah?
"You are right but I kinda fell in love with few dishes."
"That's good so how was your trip how did you find the US?"
"It was great. It's a lovely place and good for sight seeing too."
"Yeah you are right."
"So where were you Sam?"
" Canada he shrugged."
"But you said Belgium."
" Things didn't work out in Belgium that's why I traveled to Canada where my dreams came true."
"Am so happy for you Sam. So are going back or you will settle here in Douala?"
"I am settling here will be opening a bakery and a restaurant."
"That's good news Sam thus we should toast to that. They both took their juices as they cheers."
"To Sam coming back after ten years and to his success she said as they smiled at each other. They continued eating and chatting as their day went by. After they had finished their dinner, Sam dropped Lydia home but Lydia insisted on him crashing over thus giving Sam no choice as he finally crashed at Lydia's place for the night."

"The next morning Lydia had already woken up and was in the kitchen preparing breakfast.
"Hmm that smells good. Good morning beautiful.
"Good morning handsome hope you slept well."
" Of course I did......and what are we having for breakfast?" He said that as he held her waist from behind giving her a peck on her cheek."
"Pancakes and fried eggs. You can make yourself a cup of tea while I round up as am almost done."
"He left her as he made two cups of tea. Lydia got finished as she set up the table. They sat down, said the grace and began eating.
"ummm I've missed your cookings damn.'
"Hahaha I can tell you did. So what are you doing today?"
"I will meeting up with a client he has a place I want to purchase so as to start up."
"Ummm that's great. I made a new friend when you left."
"OMG did you replace me beautiful? He said that placing his hand on his chest as if he is hurt."
"of course I will never replace you just needed some company that's all."
"Okay so who is he?"
"It's a she dumb head." They both laughed.
"Okay what's her name?"
"Rica and she is crazy I bet you two will make a cute couple. "Hearing that Sam choked on his food as she laughed at him."
"Wait what was that?"
"Sam she is very pretty and kind too trust me you will love her when you get to know her."
"Now you are scaring me are you trying to hook me up with your new friend beautiful?"
"Yes I shrugged and continue eating."
"No way that's never happening okay.."
"Hahahaha okay chill dude. She took out her phone and it's almost time so she hurriedly ate her last pancake drank her tea and ran to her room."
"What happened Sam ask."
"Am almost late for work please help me with the cleaning will you? She yelled from the room.
"Don't worry I got this." After she had finished and was leaving for work, she saw Sam who was done with the cleaning.
"I will go ahead now handsome see you later in the day."
"You have a beautiful day beautiful."
"Thanks. By the way I have my own keys so you can have the other and hope you are spending the night here with me?"
"I don't have a problem with that beautiful come let me drop you off." They got to her place of work as he came and opened the door for her.
"Hmm see who is being gentle."
"Beautiful am generally a gentle dude you know that right....." They both busrt into laughter.
"Thanks for the lift Sam."
"You are welcome." They hugged each other before she made her way into the building while Sam drove off.
