"After I had dropped her off, I headed to my apartment grab few clothes and headed back to her place where I took my bath, got dressed and left to begin my day. I met with some clients and workers to set up my restaurant and bakery which is now in progress. I've been busy all day that I almost lost track of time. Checkes my watch and it was already pass noon so I decided to have lunch with beautiful. I drove down to her job site where the female employees were drooling over me. I asked the receptionist for her whereabouts as she kindly directed me. I got there to see how working on some files I guess."
What are you doing here handsome?" She says getting up for tight hug.
"Am here to take my one and only best friend out for lunch."
"Awww isn't he the sweetest thing." We both burst into laughter before her door flew open reaviling her boss who looked like he's just seen a ghost or would I say looks jealous."
"Sir do you need anything? She asked
"No I don't." He replied
"Okay....is it okay with you if I have my lunch now?
"You can." With that he Left her office pissed that I know for sure."
"What's wrong with him?
"I don't know she shrugged as she gathered her things."
"Seems like your "boss" doesn't like me."
"He doesn't like me either. Let's go." We headed for lunch at veinna as usual. After we seated and our food served we dug and made little conversations.
"So how is Lily it's been long I've seen her."
"Trust me when I say I do not have an idea of her whereabouts."
"Hmm you two haven't still work things out I guess."
"We are the impossible twins she is too different from me so there is no way we will work things out.'
"Beautiful she is your sister you can't stay that way forever."
"Sam when she becomes a better person then maybe just maybe we will act like sisters."
"If you say so. So when are you planning on introducing Rica to me?
"Awwww someone is getting impatient." That made me smile
"Not that I just wanna know who almost took my place."
"Soon handsome soon. She traveled to Yaounde but will be back this weekend."
"Okay. Can I ask you something beautiful?
"Of course shoot."
"How long has it been going on?
"How long has what been going on??? She asked confused."
"Your feelings for your boss." Her head immediately dropped. I guess she never saw it coming.
"What feelings are talking about? She concentrating on her meal to avoid my eyes.
"You know you can't hide anything from me right....I know you much more than you know yourself remember?.
"Okay fine it all started in the US but it's useless thou. She said feeling sad."
"Tell me about it beautiful." I said holding her hand across the table as i gently massage her knuckles.
"He hates me Sam. Ever since I got that job he has been treating me like trash. But as we traveled he became sweet sometimes then the next minutes he is cruel. He switches within minutes I don't know what to do Sam he is the first guy to capture my heart I just let the wrong guy steal my heart."
" I guess she couldn't hold the tears no more as she just let them flow. I went over and hugged her while shushing her not to cry."
"But you know I don't think same." Hearing that she immediately looked at me with my red and puffy eyes.
"What do you mean?"
"Am saying that, I think he feels something for you."
"Come on Sam he doesn't and he will never."
"Okay look at the situations for instance. Remember when you came back at the airport, can you remember the way he acted? Then again just now at your office didn't you see the way he looked at me I saw jealousy in his eyes."
"You may be right but I don't know. We kissed the other day."
"You what? She became shy and started figiting with her finger nails." I was a little hurt because deep down I had developed feelings for her and was planning to tell her when she returns but then I noticed she is already in to someone, her boss the arrogant jerk."
" Yes we did but he said it was a mistake and that he is sorry. So now tell me if he is interested why would he call the passionate kiss we share a mistake."
"Look here beautiful us men have a way of doing things and him saying it's a mistake doesn't mean he feels nothing for you cuz if he didn't, he wouldn't have kissed you and passionately too so stop over thinking things okay....?
"Okay I will try.
"But I've a plan to make him begged for you. Saying that he smiled making me smile back."
"And that is?
"Change your wardrobe in fact this weekend, we are going shopping."
"Wait are you implying what am thinking?
"So what do you think baby girl?
"OMG Sam you are evil. We both started laughing. Do you know he even think we are a couple?
"Then it will just be perfect for the plan. Now eat up so I can drop you back at your office."
"After I dropped her I felt a pair of eyes on me so I turned there he was in his office staring through the window. I smirk at him before getting into my car and drove off.

"Since I was done for the day, I decided to prepare dinner for us thus making something simple and lite. I made carrot salad with bread along fresh pineapple juice her favorite juice. After I finished and check the time it was 6pm so I rushed to pick her up. I arrived at her job site where I bumped into her boss."
"Hello donald."
"Hello..Sam it's Sam right?
"Yeah it is."
"I guess you are here for Lydia yea?
"You are correct.
"Okay....so umm how long have you two been together?
"Actually we've been together almost all our life."
"Meaning??
"We knew ourselves from childhood grew up together and practically did everything together."
"Ooh I see."
"You know something, beautiful is like an egg to me I don't joke when it comes to her neither do I appreciate it if someone make her cry so I hope you ain't being a jerk ass boss towards her because if you are you won't like me at all."
"Are you threatening me?"
"I don't do threats Donald am just telling you what I will do if my beautiful is hurt. Do have a good night. With that I tap his shoulder before heading inside.i arrived at her office where she was rounding up.
"Hey there beautiful."
"Hey there handsome miss me?
"Yep I did. Came to pick you up."
"Thanks much let's go. As we were heading outside I saw his car still standing outside so I suprised Lydia as I scooped her making her giggle.
"OMG what's gotten into you handsome?
"You beautiful. She couldn't help but laughed. I put her into the car as I got into the driver's seat and we drove off.

We got home as she headed to freshen up and join me later. Minutes later she is back in her PJs.
"So what are we having for dinner?
"I made carrot salad with your favorite fresh juice.
"Wao am I not that lucky?
"You are beautiful. She giggle and began dishing out the food.
"So how was work?
"It was okay... what about you ?
"Everything worked out as planned."
"Good to hear. So what are your plans for the weekend?
"Taking you shopping tomorrow then we can do a picnic, watch a movie,or go clubbing."
"Ooh before I forget Rica will be in town tomorrow and she will be crashing over."
"Hmm that's good. After our dinner we went to the bacony with a glass of red wine in our hands as we chat enjoy the evening breeze."
