Lucas took a deep sigh, knowing what was on her mind.
"I'm Lucas, a lawyer. You could google me for proof," replied Lucas.
Without waiting for her response, he continued, "I'm a lawyer, but I don't just handle divorce cases. Basically, I work for whoever pays."
He looked a bit helpless. "I didn't expect to bump into you here, but don't get too worked up. I know some of your personal stuff, but I have my professional integrity."
Dressed in sportswear, Lucas looked different from the serious, suit-clad advisor she talked to or the cunning strategist with a trick up his sleeve.
