Karen tried her best to be attentive to the group at the park that evening but flashes of what she did with Archer a few hours ago made it impossible to concentrate.
Gina had called her phone severally and was about to leave the house when Karen summoned courage to answer it. She gave a flimsy excuse of having slept off and a naughty Archer had almost burst her alibi with his repressed laughter.
She quickly went out of Archer’s room but not before seeing him texting someone, she shrugged it off and caught up with Gina at the gate. They got to the park and met Frank and Phoenix already waiting with barbecue and drinks
