Lena's mind was racing with questions and concerns. "What if she doesn't believe you?" she asked, her voice laced with uncertainty, her brow furrowed with worry. Luca's arms tightened around her, and he pulled her closer, his warmth and scent enveloping her. "I'll make sure she understands," he said, his voice low and reassuring. "You're not a threat, Lena. You're the one person who's made me feel alive in a long time. You've seen me, really seen me, and you're still here." Lena's heart swelled with emotion, and she felt a sense of determination wash over her. She would do whatever it took to prove to Luca's alpha that she wasn't a threat, that she was someone who cared about Luca for who he truly was. "Okay," she said, her voice firm, her shoulders squaring. "I'll meet her. When and where?" Luca's eyes searched hers, and she saw a glimmer of admiration there, mixed with a hint of concern. Luca's expression turned serious, his eyes locked on hers. "Promise me you'll be careful. The pack can be... unpredictable. They're protective of their own, and they might not understand our relationship. Just stick with me, and everything will be fine." Lena nodded, her heart pounding in her chest. She was about to meet a pack of werewolves. What could possibly go wrong? She felt a shiver run down her spine, but Luca's arms around her were reassuring. She knew she could face whatever came next, as long as he was by her side. "I promise," she said, her voice firm.
