Lena pulled back from Luca, her eyes searching his face. "What do I need to do to prepare?" she asked, her voice a little stronger now.
Luca's expression turned serious, and he nodded. "I'll take you to our training grounds, and we'll get you ready for the run. We'll work on your physical conditioning, and I'll teach you some basic pack dynamics."
Lena nodded, feeling a sense of determination wash over her. She was going to do this, no matter what. She was going to prove herself to the pack, and to Luca.
As they walked out of the den, Lena felt a sense of excitement mixed with nerves. She was about to embark on a journey that would change her life forever. And she was ready.
Luca took her hand, his fingers intertwining with hers. "I'll be with you every step of the way," he said, his voice low and reassuring.
Lena smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards him. She knew she couldn't do this without him.
As they walked, the moon began to rise, casting a silver glow over the forest. Lena felt a shiver run down her spine, and she knew that tomorrow night would be a night she would never forget.
"Let's get started," she said, her voice firm.
Luca's eyes met hers, and he smiled. "Let's do this," he said.
