The next few hours were a blur of physical training and pack dynamics lessons. Luca put Lena through a rigorous workout, pushing her to her limits and beyond. She was winded, sweaty, and exhilarated all at once. As they took a break to drink water and catch their breath, Luca smiled at her, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "You're a natural," he said, his voice teasing. Lena rolled her eyes, laughing. "I think I'm just getting started," she said, her voice playful. Luca's expression turned serious, and he stepped closer to her. "Remember, the pack is a family," he said. "We work together, we protect each other. You'll need to be able to read the pack's dynamics, to know when to follow and when to lead." Lena nodded, her eyes locked on his. "I'll do my best," she said. Luca's eyes seemed to bore into her soul, and for a moment, Lena felt like he could see right through her. But then, he smiled, and the moment was broken. "Let's get back to work," he said, his voice firm. The rest of the day was a whirlwind of training and practice. Lena's body ached, but she felt more confident with every passing hour. She was starting to get the hang of this pack thing. As the sun began to set, Luca called a halt to the training. "You're done for the day," he said, his voice gentle. "Get some rest. Tomorrow night will be here before you know it." Lena nodded, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. She knew she was as ready as she was going to be. Now, all she had to do was trust herself, and Luca.
