The Full Moon's call

Chapter 7: The morning after

Lena woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside her window, feeling a sense of peace and contentment wash over her. She couldn't help but smile as she thought about the night before, and the way Luca's eyes had locked onto hers.

As she got out of bed and began her morning routine, Lena couldn't shake off the feeling that everything had changed. She felt like she was walking on air, and nothing could bring her down.

But as she made her way to the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee, she saw a note on the counter. It was from Luca, written in his messy handwriting.

"Hey beautiful, had to take off early for a meeting with my alpha. Meet me at the old oak tree at sunset if you're free. -L"

Lena's heart skipped a beat as she read the note. She felt a flutter in her chest at the thought of seeing Luca again, and she couldn't wait to find out what the meeting was about.

As she sipped her coffee, Lena's mind began to wander. What did Luca's alpha want? Was everything okay? And what did Luca mean by "alpha" anyway?

Lena's curiosity was piqued, and she couldn't focus on her daily tasks. She found herself checking the clock every hour, counting down the minutes until sunset.
