Matthew’s POV-
Before I left Eilith at her grandparents', I pulled her grandfather aside and informed him of the potential connection between Dylan and the man who hired someone to kill Eilith’s parents. John was honestly very angry, but promised he wouldn’t tell anyone until after Eilith had left. I didn’t want her to know, and she didn’t want to know either. He respected her decision, and didn’t even question why.
After the conversation with John, I left to go to my office, in my penthouse, and meet with Cameron and Rob. They were already there waiting for me by the time I arrived. When I got into my office, I immediately sat in my armchair, which was next to the sofa that Cameron and Rob were sitting waiting on. I sighed when I sat down, and said, “It is good to see you again, Rob.”
