We were all led to a private room in the restaurant, so that we could have some privacy, which honestly was handy. If the little ones wanted to sit and play while we were sitting talking about everything, then we would have the floor space to do so. Matthew had been great, though at times I think he struggled to understand why I wanted to meet with Dylan one day soon. It is not because I have feelings for him still, but I want him to know that the past is over, and he is in my past, which means I do not want anything to do with Dylan anymore. I want him to stay away from me, to stay out of my life. I just wanted time to prepare myself mentally to tell Dylan that I still felt afraid to be in the same room as him.
