I'm Overpowered Useless Hero

We thought that by the end of 2050 humanity would develop far more than anyone could imagine and become the most powerful existence but we were wrong. A meteor crashed to our Earth in 2050 and from the meteor powerful radiations started coming out which covered the whole world. The rays caused some kind of changes in people. It was like those superpowers shown in mangas and movies even the animals started changing. We called those powers" Abilities" and people with those powers ability users. But soon after the spread of radiation dangerous creatures started coming to cities through portals which appeared randomly at different locations sometimes from the ground, sometimes from the sky, from water bodies everywhere. They were like giants and they could shoot lasers with their eyes. The sudden appearance of those shocked people and panicked their heart. Many lives were lost, they killed people like ants. I was also going to become a victim of them but then I saw a light coming towards the creature. That light cut the creature into two half. Then from the shadows came a man and said"You okay kiddo?" Then slowly many people like him came to rescue others. I was amazed by that sight and my heart felt like it could burst at that moment with excitement. Those saviours were being called Fantasy Fighters. The Earth we once knew, its name was changed to Fantasia Gi. The meteor which fell on December 2049, was actually an alien being and that gave every human superpower and those creatures were known as 'Beings' which were like demigods, apart from this all animals evolved into magical beasts. The ridiculous and confusing thing was that humans could evolve into Gods by defeating those creatures and the magical beasts. This started the beginning of a new era for humanity. I am Adel Cronin a student, of Fantasia's second-biggest academy, Raven High after Sacred Supreme Academy where teachers teach students how to become fighters. Today is the day for which I have been waiting for. I will be able to know about my ability and be one step close to becoming an official fighter. Being an official fighter can help you in earnings and give you fame. But my goal is to become the greatest fighter and meet my saviour Ather Welenstien. But I never thought I would see him so soon. I was standing in a queue waiting for my turn to come but suddenly felt a tap on my shoulder and a man with a handsome face and sturdy body called out"Hey kiddo how have you been lately?" "It's you wow I can't believe my eyes" my eyes filled with joy and my excitement reached its c****x. "Do good in your exams and when you are strong enough I will let you challenge me in Heroes Tournament. Until then goodbye boy." My heart started pumping so fast that I felt it would burst. In my mind, I was thinking "He wished me good luck." The day I waited for so long has finally come. Today is the day when I will get awakened and know about my ability. So what would be my ability to shoot lasers, or superhuman strength, maybe space control like [Cosmic King] the most powerful F.F? "Please put your hand on the crystal plate to know your ability and wait for results" a voice echoed from the machine. I used to be the best in everything and I am the smartest person in my whole class maybe I would get an overpowered ability. If I get something like that then I can easily reach the rank of knight. "Results of student no.235 is here. The title "HERO" has been confirmed. Ability verifying...found results. Ability DYNAMIC CREATION has been confirmed. Starting level.....cannot be measured...starting level unidentified. ERROR! ERROR!" the machine started showing error and then it shut down. Hearing this suddenly all people around me started whispering"Are you serious creation ability has title HERO." "Must be some kind of error." "Yeah, how could a useless non-combative ability get that title?" "Look who's here the genius Adel Cronin with a title like HERO and a trash ability like creation. Look at my ability and my title. I have also been given the title of HERO and my ability is GRAVITY SURGE. Don't you think you don't deserve a title like HERO? I mean c'mon you are just a waste better be a blacksmith and use your abilities there" (a girl of the same age as I was glaring at him saying all rubbish.) She is Elena, my childhood friend. We used to play together and eat together but that day of the new year changed our destiny. We got separated from each other but when we met again at this academy I didn't pay any attention to her because I was busy improving myself. And that's why she is so angry. You can say she is a tsundere, she cares about others but doesn't let anyone see her true nature. "Hey Elena you are right he is just a useless hero who just doesn't know a thing about fighting but still wants to show off. Let me show and tell you my ability is MATTER MANIPULATION which is far superior to your puny creation ability ."(A boy with blonde hairs appeared behind Elena. He was looking like some kind of a very rich family, same arrogant attitude and boasting talks.) He is Ridel Claventine a very proud and arrogant boy of our whole academy. His father is a very influential person so he often bullies others. But I don't care about their curses, I am just too excited that I got a title like HERO and my ability suits perfectly with me. I can't wait to try out my abilities and one day fight'Beings' but it might take me 100 years to slay one with my creation ability. (Well as soon as the machine crashed some people came towards it and said) "This is the machine's fault. Sorry for the inconvenience the results might be due to error so we would check into this matter."(Saying this they went away.) This is how I ended up with a name like "The Useless Hero" due to creation ability but no one knew the true power of my ability not even me. Until my first fight with a Lightning-fire Dragon also know as 'Hitrapsi'. After doing some experimentation I came to know that I can create anything and use it as per my imagination. But I wanted to test its potential. So I went to an abandoned area where many monsters can be found. Just when I was going back home I saw a small town getting attacked by Hitrapsi. He was taller than any buildings I had ever seen in my life. He was even bigger than the creatures I saw when I was a child. Emergency help didn't arrive there because it was just a small town, no one really cares for the poor people. Everyone was running to save their life. Then I saw a little girl trying to save her mother who was stuck in the rubble of a building. BOOM!!!BOOM!! Suddenly the Hitrapsi started trowing lightning and flames. At that moment I don't know what happened to me. But I just jumped there trying to save the little girl and her mother. I took her mother out of rubble then turned towards the dragon. I was going to use my ability but thought that it's better to hide my face. Now it's time to use my ability." Ability DYNAMIC CREATION create-Mask", a metal mask covers my face. "Hey lizard, want to play then I will play with you."My heart is pounding at a very fast rate can I win or not. I don't have time to think about it lets just go all out. "Create-Laser Blaster, take this if you have guts." "You puny human how dare you challenge this mighty one! I can just kill you with my one finger"the dragon roared with rage and started throwing flames at him. I kept on shooting lasers but it didn't do any great damage to him and he didn't even move an inch while I kept on dodging. Is he an intelligent magical beast? He can talk so he must be one. I have to take him down. Think about all the video games I played, there can be a weapon that can defeat him. Wait a minute! my ability is to create objects, that's mean I can create anything as long as I imagine it. Let's try that. "Create-Dimension Splitting g*n" "You puny human do think you can kill me with your toy? Wait that is not a normal g*n. That power is terrifying. Stop it! You fool everything will get destroyed and you can't control that much power" the dragon said terrifyingly. "You know what I just noticed you don't move from your place that means you can travel between space but my dimension splitting g*n can kill you easily. Not even the fighter [Weapon Master] has this kind of weapon. Now say goodbye."I wanted to say these lines. It's so fun. "Hey, human let's come to a deal. Don't be so foolish. I can be your servant if you let me live." "Guess what lizard you are buying time by talking rubbish to ready your most powerful attack; aren't you?" "Human you are not foolish as much as you look but it's too late now die" saying this the dragon Hitrapsi threw out a huge ball of fire lightning. Seeing that ball I flinched for a second then I shot a small ball that looked like the plasma state of an atom. Is this it? My strongest weapon? "Humph! human you are going to kill me with this, so ridiculous." The two balls struck each other a huge shock was created and then what! the small bullet I fired sucked away the energy ball and then it changed into a very sharp and long spear-like structure and split the dragon into two with a speed of light. Not only that it split the sky into two and a part of space could be seen. Did I kill him? I went near the little girl and said" Everything is ok now don't worry."
