“Finally done.” I stretched my arms. It was already sore from sitting the whole day in front of the computer. I checked my work and couldn’t help but smile. I haven’t been this productive in months.
I sent the drafts to Camille and finally closed my laptop. Caleb didn’t say much about the case, but having a bit of progress after so long felt so refreshing. I was right all along, and someone believing me gave me so much hope that I could find my brother.
What surprises me is that Liam never told me about Arthur. The latter didn’t even confess to me when I’ve already talked to him so many times, and even the other investigators and police. I had no idea how Caleb convinced him to tell the truth, but I was glad he did.
