The turn of events is definitely unexpected but a kid suddenly appearing when we need it the most is more unexpected. I don’t know why, but I know that kid is to be trusted. Even my wolf agrees that Adrian was worth to be trusted and that came from a wolf that rarely let anyone in, not even me.
“Care to tell what’s your real intention of barging here and telling a lie?” I asked and seeing him flinch made me regret my tone. I didn’t intend to scare him but simply just to ask.
