Caleb's POV He nodded, “Yeah. I’ve been surviving by commissioning drawings in the streets. There’s also a kind old lady that let me take a bath at her house yesterday and she fed me too. But there have been hardly any customers for the last two days. Art materials cost a fortune too, so I decided to get a part time job, but no one accepted me either. I don’t really mean harm. I just need a place to stay. I could guard this office. I won’t touch anything you don’t want me to and I’ll clean up. I’m more responsible than most kids my age.” I couldn’t help but smile. I have a feeling that he practiced that last line just in case his “plan” didn’t work. I really don't understand my feelings right now. This wasn't just sympathy for sure, but I knew that I had to help the kid no matter what. “
