* A storm cloud was gathering in the west just a few minutes before sunset when their procession finally reached the border of Syria on a dark and gloomy day. Fareed halted them there, saying they needed to rest before they continued. The very next day, they would be entering Damascus. Noor was no longer in a slump after her little chat with Mr Evans, so she talked casually with Fareed while he set up her tent right beside his. The relief she felt at the journey finally coming to an end was too immense to put into words. Venturing out of Sana'a had been good, at least for the first few days.
