* The old man had drawn his keffiah across his face, and his thobe was black, large and dirty with several yards of extra garment hanging at his feet. A few patched holes could be seen all around the thobe at random spots, and the sleeves were way too long for a normal person.  The old man stooped slightly, nearly a foot shorter than master Fareed was.
