Chapter 7 Relationships

Arjun was someone who was always deprived of affection. His father, a businessman loved him a lot and provided anything and everything he ever asked for. One thing he could not provide him was love of a mother. Arjun lost his mother while he was too young. His father couldn't handle the loss and still suffered of depression. He wanted to avoid all the emotions he felt by making himself busy in his corporate world. Little did he know that this will spoil his child.

Their relatives were greedy and only went after their money. They could hardly trust anybody to take care of him. Ajun learned to settle with this world of emotionless people and started dwelling with them.

One thing he knew that money will not provide everything but this was all he had in abundance. He loathed affection. Which he was mostly denied of. He always tried to find love outside in a way of a lover. His first girlfriend was two years elder girl. He started dating her because:

1.She was extremely beautiful and bold.

2. She was really caring and often inquired about his diet and appetite.

3. She was fun to be around and would play a lot of fun pranks.

The last point became miserable for Arjun when one of her last prank with him was to rob his money and never to show up again. It took few months for him to settle into reality.

He then moved on to another girl who was one year younger then him. She was too pushy for him. She would always want to indulge into romantic stuffs which was okay with him. He would buy expensive gifts for her and she would be happy with him always. One day he bought one and only flower at their month anniversary which pissed her off. She certainly expected a little more then that. Days passed and he grew more and more greedy. Again Ajun was trapped with a gold digger. But again the fact that he choose all dolled up girls as his girlfriends proved why their action were the way they were.

By now he was habituated with the idea of changing relationships every now and then. He started adding in to this newly formed reputation of his.

People now around him are not familiar with the reason but claim to know him very well. Spoiling himself by spending bundles and bundles of money for fun and having enormous number of relationships was his idea of fun. He didnt care about any other thing at that moment.

However, he knew that one day he will find someone who doesn't care about his money and his reputation but will try to know the person behind his reputation. That day he will fall in love with the internal beauty and will open himself up and will show each and every bits and pieces of his life which he was hiding for years. According to him he was too young for this right now. Serious relationships for him was a thing for 30 year olds.

That Day came too soon then expected when he started knowing Riya. He knew he had this very strong feeling for her but he had done already too many mistakes by then. He knew that Riya was really innocent and all those time when he had been playing around was not what she deserved.

While Arjun was sitting all confused what to do next or how to undo his mistakes, Riya has fallen in love with him. She knew everything about Arjun but there was this feeling which she couldn't shake. She has always been attracted by bad boys(which she is not proud of). Guess she choose this fate herself. Also she was too young to take a right decision. She always had a crush on him. He always tried to impress her too. She resisted. Too much. But at the end Arjun and herself convinced her for their first date.
