Darcy yawned and glanced out the passenger window of Mark's truck as they pulled out of Mark’s parking spot and hit the road. Yawning again, she turned back around so she was sitting at an angle, making it easier for her to look at Mark and out over the dash at the same time. Silently, she studied him, wondering why he wasn’t yawning as much as she was. Since they had “slept” together for the first time a couple of weeks ago, they hadn’t done much sleeping. Combine that with school and work, and she was absolutely exhausted.
Sliding her phone out of her pocket, she pulled up her assignment list for one of her classes to see what assignment she had next and when it was due. As her eyes ran down the list, her mind started to wander. Life had changed a lot in the last couple of weeks. More
