(Cameron’s POV)

“Hey, Jackson!” I said while entering the security room. “I’d like to see the security camera footage between 7:00 to 8:15pm today.”

“Beta. Sure. Let me pull up that one for you. May I know why?” Jackson asked. “The alpha pup fell and is now in the pack hospital. The poor thing seized when they got there.” I saw Jackson made an O shape with his mouth. “Here you go. This video shows what happens in the nursery between 7:00 and 8:15PM.” I grabbed a chair and sat beside him. An hour passed and all I see is Izzie reading a book while the twins are in their playpen. AJ keeps on rolling over so Izzie frequently stands up to lay him flat. I chuckle at the sight. Just then, Izzie walked to the window, picked up the twins and put them in their cribs, and walked out.

“8:03. That’s the time Arthur and I came home. Izzie must have walked out to see him.” I said to myself. I kept a close eye to the video. Nothing looks suspicion but after a few moments the side of AJ’s crib dropped and the unthinkable happened. I gasped when I saw it. Just then I received a mind link from Arthur.

Boss…

Yes, Cameron.

AJ’s fall may not have been an accident. Something or someone may have caused it.

Where are you?

In the security room.

We’re coming.

I swear I could feel rage in Arthur’s voice. He was a kind man but he was the total and complete opposite when you hurt the people he loves. I knew that when he sees the video all hell will break lose so I mind link Dominic just in case.

(Izzie’s POV)

“What did Cameron say, Love?” I asked Arthur whose eyes were still black with rage. He carried me to the security room because I was too weak to walk. The stress of what’s happening to AJ is taking a toll on my body. “We’ll know when we get there, love” Arthur said.

As we entered the security room, we were greeted by Cameron, Dominic, and Jackson, our head of security.

“Hey boss!” Cameron fist bumped Arthur. These two were friends since they were babies so pleasantries were not much of there thing. “Show me.” Arthur commanded. I just laid back on the chair and watched the screen. What I saw next made Arthur shift in the security room and I felt overwhelmed with with rage.
