Evergreen’s Heirs 1
(Isabella’s POV)
“Aaagghh! ARTHUR WINDSOR! YOU ARE SLEEPING ON A SEPARATE ROOM TONIGHT THIS s**t IS PAINFUL! Aaargghh!” I scream as another contraction seized my entire body.
“Contractions are 3 minutes apart. We’re getting close, Luna. Hang on tight.” says Dr. Benson.
“Why don’t you squeeze my hand, love?” my stupid husband said not knowing the magnitude of pain I am enduring caused by him not being able to keep his hands to himself. “Ahh! Ahh! Ahh! Damn! You’re strong love. That actually hurts.” “Try pushing…out…7.9 pounds of…life through your…dick, Artie…before…complaining one bit!” I snap at him while catching my breath after another heavy contraction.
“Alright, Luna. We are ready to push. Alpha, please step outside.” “But…” Arthur complained. “No buts Alpha! Out! Now!”I laughed a little because aside from Caroline and me, Dr. Benson is the only other person to talk to Arthur like that.
“Now, Luna when I say push, you push as hard as you can. When I say stop, you stop. Okay?” I nod. Dr. Benson follows to say, “Okay everyone. Let’s get ready to meet our pack’s future alpha and princess.” She looked at the clock, “Contraction in 3…2…1…Push, Luna!” And I pushed with all my might.
After heaving and pushing, I felt a gush of relief. I was breathing heavily but the pain has somehow subsided. Then it dawned on me that there was no crying echoing the room. “My baby’s not crying,” I whispered to myself. And then, another contraction came and I heard Dr. Benson telling me to push so I did. I felt my body breaking in all places but I kept going. I’m never getting pregnant again.
“Well done, Luna.” Then they all rustled to the side. There was a faint cry but I know the cry should be louder since I pushed two babies out.
“Dr. Benson?” I tried to speak. But she didn’t look back. I waited for a little while still nothing. I started shouting. “Dr. Benson, my babies!?!” “Calm down, Luna. We’re working on them.” Them? There was something wrong with them? I was about to cry and get out of bed when suddenly, “Ohaaaaa…” “Thank the moon goddess they’re alright!,” one of the nurses cried in delight. “Is that…” “Yes, Luna. It’s your precious twins. Oh boy! She’s quite heavy.” She said while wrapping one of my twins. “Anna, please let the Alpha in”
Dr. Benson put her on my chest and she stopped crying. “Alexandra Juno,” “What?” “Alexandra Juno Windsor. That’s her name.” I said and right when I said it, my baby smiled. “Dr. Benson, my baby just smiled!” I exclaimed ecstatically. “Yes Luna. This is quite normal. You see, that is called a reflex smile. They start reflex smiling before birth and continue to do so as newborns.” She said while putting my baby boy on my chest, too. “Alexander Jacob Windsor” this one smiled too. “That or I just got myself happy babies, Dr. Benson!” Arthur said enthusiastically.
(Arthur’s POV)
I watched as my mate lay there with our precious little ones. She had Izzie’s heroic brown skin tone and my nose and ebony black hair, for a new born she had thick locks. My baby boy looked a lot like me. He was fair, had my nose, and my hair color. Isabella was a redhead. “You’re perfect.” I said while softly brushing Izzie’s hair out of her face. I kept looking at her and I just love her even more. I never thought I could love her more but today, this moment, just makes me cry realizing that this woman, this lovely powerful woman who just bear my precious little one, is my mate. Mine forever.
“You’re crying.” Izzie said softly. “I’m bursting with happiness, love.” I replied. “I love you two. So much.” “We love you too, daddy.”
I am more than an Alpha today. I am a father and there is no greater title than that.
