(Arthur’s POV)
Izzie is now asleep and Dr. Benson took our babies to do some newborn tests. As I stayed in the room and watch my beautiful mate sleep my phone rang. It was Izzie’s mom.
“Hi, Eleanor.”
“Hello, Arthur. How’s Izzie? Is she doing fine”
“Well about that…” I said slowly. Prolonging their agony.
“Arthur? Don’t tell me?”
“Well…”
“Spit it out boy!” Man! This is where Izzie got her spunk. I laughed a little.
“Eleanor, your now grandparents to twins!” Then all I could hear was laughing and sniffles. Eleanor is probably crying now.
“Alright. We’re coming over. Expect us in five hours.”
“Oh! Wow! Okay. I’ll get one of the omegas to prepare your room for you. See you.”
She hanged up. I mind link one of the pack omega to prepare their room. “Love?” I heard Izzie. I approached her and held her hand. “Yes, love. I’m here. What do you need?”
“Where are my babies?”
“Dr. Benson took them to do some newborn tests, baby. She’ll bring them back when she’s done. How are you feeling?”
“A little sore but nothing I can’t tolerate.”
I then lay down and cuddle her from behind. I put my head to her neck where my mark is and inhaled her scent.
“Baby? Are you okay?” Izzie asked.
“Yes, love. I just…Thank you. I just love you so much. I’m now a dad to two precious babies and I don’t know how to thank you enough.” I said and tears fell down my eyes.
“Oh, love. Next time, you should be the one pregnant.” Izzie laughed softly. I laughed with her. How strong can she get? She’s now making jokes after an hour of just giving birth. This woman is amazing.
(Isabella’s POV)
Arthur and I were laughing when suddenly the door busted open and I see Caroline running towards us. She looked like she just cried.
“Hi, Caroline.” I said.
“Sweetie, slow down. You’re going to trip if you keep going that fast.” Alastair told his wife who was almost running towards me.
“Oh sweetheart. Where are my grandkids? Isabella? Do you need anything? Arthur! You better give her everything she needs and wants the moment you get out of the hospital and not a word of complain when she says she’s tired!” Oh this woman was sweet and endearing to me and hard and pushy on Arthur and Alastair.
“Thank you Caroline. Arthur has been very helpful during my labor.”
“Oh sweetie. I know the pain. And to think you gave birth to twins. Oh I can’t. When we had Claire after Arthur, I prayed to the moon goddess enough. I’ve got an Alpha and a Luna so that’s it!”
I laughed when she said this. Arthur was their eldest and Claire was the youngest. Claire is mated to the alpha of Blue River Pack. She will be having her Luna ceremony next month.
Dr. Benson walked in followed by two nurses carrying our babies swaddled in pink and blue. Caroline and Alastair held our babies.
“Oh this one looks a lot like Alastair when he was a baby,” Caroline said.
“And this looks like Claire,”
“Way to rain the news that they look nothing like the person who just pushed them out,” I pouted. They all laughed.
“Don’t worry, Luna. Their body will still undergo changes as they grow. They will have similarities with you soon.”
“Well, I know what thing that’s already similar to me in one of them.” I said with the most annoying matter of fact tone I’ve ever made.
“What?!?” They all exclaimed in unison.
“One actually has a vagina.” I said without a tone of hesitation in my voice.
They all laughed while Caroline and Alastair covered my babies ears.
“Language, Isabella!” I just laughed.
