(Dr. Benson’s POV)

I got the Alpha and Luna’s consent to operate on the young alpha. Poor kid going under at his age. I can’t quite put a finger on it though. How can he get this hurt in the nursery? The floor is covered in carpet and their crib is childproof. Something was really off but I had to focus on the young alpha now. This surgery is risky especially at his age. My mind wandering got cut off by the Gamma.

Dr. Benson?

Yes, Gamma.

Can you please come to the security room with some medetomidine?

What? Why? What do you need a sedative for?

Arthur just shifted. We can’t hold him for so long. Please hurry.

The mind link got cut off. “Anna, prep the young alpha. I need to go to the security room.” I ran to the security room using my wolf speed and sure enough the alpha’s wolf, Havoc, is there. I immediately jabbed the sedative on his hind leg. “That should put him out.”

“Thanks, Doc.” “No problem, Gamma. I do wonder what made the alpha shift?” I asked. “Umm, Doc? We still have one problem.” Dominic said pointing at Isabella. Her eyes were glowing and everything around us were floating. “You didn’t care to tell me to bring to sedatives?!?” I screamed at his face. He just shrugged. I mind link one of the pack nurses to bring another dose and fast.

“Dr. Ben…What’s happening?!?” I’m pretty sure her eyes were widened at the sight. I did not have time to explain. I injected the Luna with the sedative and she too passed out. “Andrea, not a word out of what happened here. That’s an order.” Cameron said. Andrea bowed on her way out.

“Beta? Gamma? Would you mind carrying the Alpha and Luna to the hospital?” They both nodded. They covered the Alpha with one of the blankets and Cameron carried the Luna to the hospital. Dominic and Jackson had to carry Arthur. This man is huge.

(Izzie’s POV)

I woke up feeling light headed. The last thing I remember was seeing a man drop AJ and everything went haywire. I slowly opened my eyes and I saw Arthur to my right. He was still passed out. I was in the pack hospital.

“Hello?”

“Hi, Luna.” I saw Cameron approach me. “Sorry. We had to mind link Dr. Benson because everything was getting out of hand with Arthur and you” he explained.

Oh right. Oh s**t. I let my power out.

“Did anybody else see?”

“Yes. Andrea and Jackson. But we already told them not a word out.”

“I’ll still have to see them. Love?” I shook Arthur a little. He woke up and tried to stand up. Good thing Cameron was close enough to stop in.

“Alpha stay in your bed. I had to sedate you because you shifted in the security room. I understand that you found out what happened to the young pup and right now we still don’t know who the fugitive is. But may I ask that you stay together because I’m taking AJ to surgery now. Now, can you do that?” Dr. Benson was tensed saying that. I sat up and touched her arm. “I trust you, Doc. Do what’s best for my baby.” She bowed and left.

“Our baby needs us now, love. Let’s keep it together. When he’s out of surgery and recovering then we hunt this asshole down.” Arthur nodded in agreement. I may have been out of the game for a few years now but I still know how to work my mojo. Whoever this person is trying to hurt my family will get the hell he asked for.
