Chapter 5 We have a plan. It’s Alden’s plan, but because he has the most to lose and it sounds like it’ll work, I go along with it. He’s leaving for the front tonight. While I said goodbye to the life I used to lead, he was calling his second in command to see that their unit left the base in the morning. Alden and I would already be on the road by then, almost eight hours ahead of them and that much closer to the front. That much closer to finding Tomas.
