My heart was thumping in my chest but It seemed It had become numb. My legs were shaking as dread filled my heart and mind. Tears welled in my eyes when I looked towards the twenty dead bodies of the vampire warriors, who lost their lives to save us. I looked toward my mate, Darius, and he was shocked, the pained look in his eyes make my heart bleed.
“Who did this and how someone can kill my warriors when I was linked with all of them?” Darius asked and slowly his anger suppressed every other emotion behind it.
