“Kira! You know when we first moved to Pavia? We were nervous wrecks and unable to think straight. We stayed in a roach-infested motel to hide from my abusive mate. I was so scared but you provide me with the support which I needed at that time,” I said and she looked towards me with a questioning look because she didn’t know why I was saying all this.
“We faced many problems together and dealt with many difficult situations but we never failed. Life always gives us hard times but I have never felt that way…Like a fear gnawing in my soul…an unsettled fear like something is about to happen. I am afraid, Kira! I thought I will never feel that way again but I was wrong. I think Something is coming our way like a tsunami that will wash away all the happiness of our lives,” I said
